All it's big games came late? Revisionist history at it's best.

Wii U launched in 2012 and had practically no big exclusives until 2014. May seem like a normal waiting period to you, but Nintendo can't rely on Fifa and Call of Duty to sell their systems.

2 years isn't too late. And is new super Mario bros no longer considered big? Even after 2 years though people were predicting it would sell a hell of a lot better then it did when most of the big titles actually came.

To act like we all knew it was doomed is revisionist. Myself and others were ridiculed by the Nintendo faithful for claiming it was though.

It is for Nintendo platform, again, that's reason why Nintendo launched several system seller games in Switch first year after Wii U, big Nintendo games and Nintendo system sellers games are what selling Nintendo hardware on first place. NSMBU was actually one of reason why plenty of people thought that Wii U is some kind addon for Wii and not brand new console, it looked exactly same like NSMB from Wii just in HD, NSMBU like launch title done plenty of harm to Wii U, if Nintendo had Mario Maker and Splatoon for instance for Wii U launch, Wii U definatly wouldnt had so bad sales.

Try to remeber how much negativity around Wii U was in 2013. in gaming media right away after launch, going from terible sales numbers (it sold only 160k in first quarter after holiday season), months whitout any single release, not single one big or must have game, 3rd party start abonding platform...not all people thought that Wii U was doomed of course, especially Nintendo fans, but Wii U in 2013. got image of failed console without future.

The highest milestone it will get?

So you're telling me if switch was a traditional console like Wii u or ps4 it would be selling just aswell. You're leaving out 1 glaring omission. Portable.

No, I never said that, I was very clear, I said if Wii U had some big or system seller games on launch and in first year, that would definitely has higher sales number than it did, no that Wii U would be success at end or that was only Wii Us problem.

There are very obvious reasons why Wii U is worst selling Nintendo consoles, Nintendo done evrething wrong with Wii U, but there are 3 main reasons:

-No big, strong system seller game on launch and in its first hole year, and huge software drouths

-Terrible branding and marketing, people massively thought that Wii U is some kind of addon for Wii

-Not appealing (and not used) concept

Intresting, Nintendo with Switch correct all those mistakes:

-very strong launch and 1st year with couple of huge, system seller games

-great marketing and branding

-great concept

Also intresting, Wii also had all those things same like Switch, while Wii U didnt had not one of them.

I mean yah? Idk why over 2000 people are buying a dead console at this point, but whatever.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

if you own a vita do not sell it. keep it, keep it safe! you'll thank me later.

Probably people who want to play Persona 4 Golden and don't have another alternative outside of buying a Vita to play it :P

Seriously, I wish Persona 4 Golden was ported to platforms that people actually own , like the PS4 and the Switch.

No, there is still the 16,000,100 milestone and the 16,001,000 milestone, and maybe even the 16,010,000 milestone!

And I think the frog will post it =p
