It's a classic FF game that you can play portable. Of course it will sell amazingly. Hopefully it sells enough for SE to put it on mobile.

It will sell out at other stores too. It is just that appealing to them. The west is what I worry about. If this is SE's test game, it needs to sell in the west too. Bigly.

Always a good sign that there is high demand for this game. To be honest the moment it was revealed there was no major doubt this wouldn't sell well.

It went out of stock on Amazon Canada as well a few days ago. It is probably selling better than Square Enix anticipated.

It is better not to expect to much, the number of pre order still seems low. beaten 100k first week is a nice achievement but isn't amazing.

It does, it's number 1 on Amazon and the bestselling game on Gamestop for a couple days already. It's the hottest game of the month for many. It will sell well, that's for sure, the question is more how well.

Honestly, its in the west that it will sell best.Japan will do great, but not nearly as well as in the west imo.

Yodobashi is not quite that big when it comes to the games section. At least the one in Akihabara wasn't. I think the Gundam (+ figures / plastic toys) section was just as big, if not bigger, than the entire gaming section on this specific Yodobashi. Which in itself was only 1 out of 8 floors of a really big building.
