PlayStation Plus Games For August Announced!

The monthy games have just been announced on the PlayStation Blog, and they are;

WipEout Omega Collection

Sniper Elite 4

I'm very happy with this offering, since I've been on the fence about buying the Omega Collection for a while now, I love the games but just needed a push to actually buy this, and now it's free so... yay! And I also spent a lot of time just messing around in Sniper Elite V2 and 3, it's a really fun series and the X-Ray kills are fantastic and really satisfying... although can get repetitive after a while, but still fun!

WipEout is a must have.

Imagine if tomorrow at EVO, Sony announce PlayStation All Stars 2. They announce a game the first day of after for EVO ? Anybody knows ?

Most likely not gonna happen.  Sony hasn't even said anything about an announcement,  which alone should indicate how big it will be.

I imagine it's more odd an evo focused thing.

That said,  if it's psbr2 im as all in.

This game deserves way more attention than its getting, looks like a truly cult classic RPG. Day 1 for me.

Intrigued! Made me think of Fable, Witcher 3 and Dragon Age while watching the gameplay, if I have the funds, I'll get this as I already pre-ordered Link's Awakening.

That looks really cool! I didn't even know it existed.

Took me a few days to actually come here and watch it, but wow!

I saw the initial release trailer for it and didn't really think much, especially when I saw it was developed by Spiders (The developers behind Bound By Flame and The Technomancer)... but after seeing this trailer I have a little more faith that it'll actually turn out to not only be a decent game, but a good one at that. I'll be looking at reviews for sure, although if I do buy it, chances are it'll be on sale for half (or less) price. It definitely looks like a huge step up for them though!

So with Insomniac, there is a lot to look forward to on PS5.
Insomniac has a better game turnover than almost any other Sony studio, and they have a focus on VR too.
There is the new San Diego studio (either team 2 or a new studio overall) who might might be taking over Uncharted.
Sony appears to be working with Housemarque on an exclusive, and maybe even Remedy.
Bluepoint could be working on Demons Souls.
and Manchester Studio still hasnt been formally revealed with their VR title
