Yeah she is getting absolute sympathy from me, quite frankly I hope she does work in video games writing again. I am sure there are plenty of writers who are both kinder and much more talented then her anyways. 

ResetERA might have the worst moderation I have seen of any site, it truly is the biggest example of how gaming forums can easily turn into an echo-chamber and it does not help that the mods enforce it to become one.

They just locked the thread, too. The accusations against GG and defense of Jessica Price's volatile behavior were very questionable, in my opinion. Just because Deroir happened to disagree (slightly) with a female writer, that doesn't make him a sexist nor was he "mansplaining" (which is the most bullshit made-up term ever). Fortunately, there were more comments, if not plenty, siding with ArenaNet's actions and Deroir.

You can say whatever you want on the net but if it's tied to your real identity, most employers won't side with ya if you say some crazy shit or something that crosses a line.

I like twitter. You can see what some of these people actually think. Especially reporters, activists, celebrities, etc.

Of course they did. It's the same shit with ResetEra again and again and again. Look at the people who got banned for pointing out that people were blaming this all on "GamerGate" instead of her shitty behavior. They banned these people for "downplaying a hate movement". Only someone eager to shut down opposition to their ideals while trying to look remotely justified would pull that garbage. Yet I see actual personal attacks on people in that thread, essentially drive-by insults on people who agreed with her firing, and they didn't get moderated.

The thread was clearly showing that most of the people giving their two cents agreed to her being fired and a shitty person. So just like they did with the first two threads, they shut it down because they have to silence opinions that dissent from the hivemind of that forum. It also wasn't at all surprising to see people continually defend her shitty response to Total Biscuit's death as if he legit organized harassment mobs. All because he didn't mind people like Sarkeesian and Wu getting called out for their bullshit. To them that was equal to him supporting death threats. That's like you telling someone you like pumpkin pie and they call you a terrorist because they heard about a terrorist who also likes pumpkin pie. Like they honestly keep trying to lump ANYONE who disagrees with their views as a horrible harasser of women, gays, and minorities.

Whoa Whoa Whoa.... With tweets like this, it's not hard to believe that she's been on the company's hitlist for a while now. Good riddance.
