I mammal who thinks that only the latest games are worthy of playing.

for several years now Ive been on and off playing Pac-Man across several different platforms (Switch, 3DS, arcade cabinets). Originally it was just a hobby but then I actually started reading into the patterns that the ghosts move in and different quirks with the game that people have discovered. There is actually a lot of strategy to Pac-Man that the average gamer would just overlook, and thats part of the reason why I love going back to it. so far my personal high score is around 56,000.

anyone else have a similar case with another retro game?

OK, so before I even get started on how I want the OP to look, I first need to know what you guys want this thread to cut-off at! So, I've picked a few time frames:
1. N64 and below
2. Original Xbox and below
3. Wii and below

This is mainly so I know whether or not 6th and 7th gen games should be part of the discussion here. I'll make it a poll too for this thread.

I'm of the opinion that 5th gen (N64/PS1) or earlier should be included.  But I'm probably older than the majority here, so my opinion might not be representative.

Yeah, I can't REALLY argue that.  It began almost 20 years ago.  But I do have a hard time considering PS2 games as retro in my mind.  I'm just getting old, I guess.

6th gen, but I've no problem with 5th gen being the cut off to be honest if it goes that way.

OK, I tried making a stab at a banner, it doesn't look all too great but I think it'll do for now. So, now I need to figure out how I'm going to sort out the rest of the OP. Do you guys have any suggestions?
