No different than Doom, who cares, it runs on the Switch and Doom was a fun time to play on the go, I actually skipped the Wolfenstein 2 launch to get the Switch version later. Just an innocent single player game by Bethesda. play it for the story, not the looks.

Doom maintained higher resolutions.

The presentation actually is a big part of Wolf 2. Its a technical achievement on X1 and PS4, this is why DF is boasting about what they accomplished on Switch. They managed to bring much of the effects to the Switch, in compromise of resolution.

I played the PS4 demo and realized what I allreay know: I suck at aiming with joysticks.

The gyro-aiming is what makes me want the Switch version.

I do not underdstand why PS4 and XB1 does not have this option.

Resolution is overestimated.
At least in portable mode.

I mean, 240p cutscenes of 3ds games look gorgeous.

If you have prerendered quality graphics, will be gorgeous in any resolution, on portable screen.

Kindly disagree.
I cannot bring myself to use my New 3DS XL due to the subpar displays.
Some people might be content with a fly-screen like image, I am most certainly not one of them. :P

Ditto. I am content with 720p or even 480p in demanding games / areas, but anything lower is cumbersome. While I loved my 3DS, I hated these screens / resolutions.

Doom is older than Wolfenstein II, that's what makes the difference. Uncharted 4 was a technical achievement too, but isn't as an achievement as God Of War, because it's older.

And you decided to take a screenshot where the Switch version has its greatest weakness, aka water.

That's an over simplification nor how it necessarily works. Doom, Wolf 2, Uncharted 4 and God of War all leverage specs differently.

Wolf 2 has more intricately designed environments, more demanding effects, but appears to have more significant resolution drops on all platforms compared to Doom.

I don't think God of War necessarily looks better than Uncharted 4. I see these as games with great visuals used in different ways.

I guess I’m one of the people that really just didn’t like this game much, which is weird because I thoroughly enjoyed New Order and Old Blood. The only part I really enjoyed was when the fat German woman slapped the shit out Grace and put her in her place.

0331 Happiness is a belt-fed weapon

Seems more than acceptable for a handheld, but very underwhelming for a home console.

4 ≈ One

When I played Doom on Switch, I was bothered by the low resolution for about 5 minutes (both docked and undocked), but then my eyes adjusted and it looked great. I also finished the game because of the portability. I rarely leave my house but being able to have something on the tv and playing the Switch, plus the ease of just picking it up and starting where I left off makes me want to play games more in general.

I wonder why there is no demo for Doom or Wolfenstein 2 in the eShop... every other supported system has a free demo of these games.

Are they worried that they would scare more people away with the demo than gaining customers of the Switch versions?

I dont think thats point, this is late port done by company outside Bethesda and and doing Demo will maybe cost extra money. Plenty of games dont have Demo on Switch.
