By the way i just wanted to give a counter argument. The OP was gonna buy the game anyways. He just wanted validation to spend $20. 

Let me say it like this.
Yakuza 0 has an insane amount of content. Some of that content are minigames that by themselves can be as addictive as other online only titles and make you spend tens of hours just trying to win some stupid little thing (but still loving every second of it).
I think you will enjoy Yakuza 0.

I tried the game and it starts off great but then gets really boring. Has you running around doing a bunch of boring stuff. Looks like they are trying to setup a story but it's taking to long with to much junk to do in between. I couldn't continue.

Don't. Just put it at the top of your shopping list and finish some games you already own right now. Buy Yakuza 0 when you feel like you want something new, not just because it's cheaper now. Who knows, maybe when you buy it it will be for $15 or even $10-12.

Well, I did it. Just purchased the game this past weekend. Don't know when I'm going to get to it, but I will at some time pop it in to give it a test run even after watching several gameplay and review videos. And I just found out that the first two were remade and remastered. I've always thought those two were side stories or something along the lines of the Yakuza series. And as some of you have pointed out I should get it before the greatest hits version is the only copy. I also just bought Uncharted 4 today. Peace.

I just beat the game btw took me 120 hours, now starting Kiwami :).

I've put like 155 hours into the game, game is amazing and my GOTY from 2017
