Square Enix’s 38th annual meeting of stockholders took place in Japan last week. During the event, the company apparently commented on the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI once again. One person who attended claims Square Enix stated that the Switch version of Dragon Quest XI will have content not found in the PlayStation 4 version.

At this time, an official transcript of the event has not been published. It means it only has the vague tweet to go by.

That is smart, and good way to actually get people possibly to double dip after long enough time frame has passed.

I hate content carving. Just give us the whole damned game, no matter where we buy it, and no matter if we pre-order it or not. -_-

This is why I skipped Assassin's Creed Origins last year.

Well considering it's probably not coming out for at least another year they will likely need to have some extra content to push the game..

Ok yeah, that makes more sense. That's fine then. So long as PS4/PC users are offered a chance to buy that extra content as DLC. Right? 

It should, especially after putting Switch owners through a roller coaster. I honestly would want the SNES styled version included as a stand alone title from the 3DS, that'd be more than enough for me.

Dragon Quest XI Switch: Echoes of an Elusive Release Date.

This was one of the first games announced for Switch, and they're still struggling to get it out in time.

The only extra I want is for it to release within the next 8 or so months. That's all I'm asking.

Probably Zelda costumes :P

It will have the DLC released for the PS4 version included on the Switch version. If the port is a year out, it only makes sense.
