gt sport does, but i'm not sure what it has to do with ps5, all those games mentioned would run at 60fps, it consoles weren't being held back by crappy cpu's.

Anyone remember when 60fps was the buzz term being thrown around start of this gen?

I 'member.

Result: 30fps

The Last of Us does run at 60. It's just another case of developers prioritizing graphics over framerate. The PS4 Pro can't offer 60fps options for most titles because while it is upclocked the CPU is still garbage.

Boy you’re getting real technical right now lol. It’s no big deal to most people. Run God Of War, TLOU, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Everybody’s Golf, etc. in “60fps” mode and they’re all smooth as hell. Not to mention nearly everyone of those games (save for Everybody’s Golf) are considered gaming achievements. The fact that XBOX One X and “True 4K” did absolutely nothing to quell the PS4’s dominance proves that a great game running at 30fps beats an average game running at 60fps. While I do prefer 60fps over higher resolution it’s obvious that I’m in the minority on that note.

PC GAMING: BEST GAMES. WORST CONTROLS

A mouse & keyboard are made for sending email and typing internet badassery. Not for playing video games!!!

I don't really understand the tangent you're going on. You responded to someone saying next gen most games would be 60fps with - "which PS4 exclusives are 60fps". It doesn't make sense, he's not talking about this gen, and he's not talking about just exclusives.

You're also not actually making any point, just throwing out information that you could use to make one but then doing nothing with it.

GT Sport is the only 60fps AAA exclusive for the PS4 I'm aware of, that isn't a remaster.

You can see developers already trying to add a performance mode  in  many games, you just don't seem to understand how big the jump is in CPU power in ryzen compared to what's in home consoles now. Making a performance mode in nextgen will be be a walk in the park with that CPU.

I'm not sure why you're including anything on PS4 Pro, since that's a different console than what people bought originally, and I'm only referring to the PS4.

Great games running at 60fps will always be my preference:

What reason should I have to believe any future game developed for PS5 will make 60fps?
If the claim was that all PS4 titles that get ported to PS5 will be locked 60fps, that might be more believable. I also don't care about other games that might hit 60fps that I'll be playing on PC anyway.

Edit: I should mention even though it doesn't affect me, 3rd party games hitting 60fps is still important.

I think that’s almost everyone’s preference. But most people won’t skip a great game locked at 30fps. Unless in their mind a feature that’s most games don’t have (60fps) is the most important thing in gaming. Which I don’t think would be wise for a gamer.

That's fine if your system has Breath of the Wild. What did PS4 have it's first two or so years, Bloodborne?
I love Bloodborne and Souls games personally, but it's hardly a wide-reaching, console selling mega-hit. In terms of having an actual game library, PS4 didn't feel that relevant until just last year.

So not only were they slow as hell pushing out some worthwhile exclusives, pretty much none of them hit 60fps. Bravo.
Forgive me if I'm not jumping up and down in anticipation for PS5, seeing as I was unfortunately a launch day PS4 owner.

Well you found a way to get in some ps4 bashing, completely offtopic. Nice Job!

If people are gonna fill this thread with their unbridled love for Sony and Playstation, I feel like I'm allowed to at least balance the scales with my genuine experience as an owner.
