I did a similar thread for decades, but I will do one for countries. You can add more topics, I've just listed my interests.

Animation? United States? Is that a joke? How can you be a forum goer on a game website without being a weeb?
Anyways
Music: United Kingdom
Movies: I haven't seen many foreign films and I think this is the one category where people really focus on an American-centric catalog, it's almost unfair really, I guess I'll just go with United States anyways by default.
Video games: Japan
Animation: I almost have to go with this one by default too because I've seen more anime as a conscious sentient being than I have American animation ... been a long time since I watched a good Disney film ... and most of the modern ones suck. So Japan I guess, but there's a ton of good American cartoons ... especially on TV
Comics: Japan
I would say United States for all of them... I may be a bit biased. I might have said Japan for video games a decade ago... but they are way behind the West now...
I think everything goes to United States, except maybe animation.
My bet with The_Liquid_Laser: I think the Switch won't surpass the PS2 as the best selling system of all time. If it does, I'll play a game of a list that The_Liquid_Laser will provide, I will have to play it for 50 hours or complete it, whatever comes first.
In regards to movies, TV-shows, animation and comics I've been so ingrained in American entertainment since i was 3 years old it's hard to say anything else. As for videogames i might lean towards Japan but there are so many great games from both the US and Europe these days i can't make a decision

Well I did put Japan for video games (actually almost all of my favorite video games are Japanese). The main animation I watch is Looney Tunes, old Disney, Popeye, Tom and Jerry and Felix the Cat.

Honorable mentions for American music and French comics.
Music: United Kingdom
Movies: China. Really, they do great movies. And since Hongkong is again part of China, Hongkong and mainland chinese movie productions have merged and do even greater movies. All the while Hollywood feels formulaic and uninspired. Not like the 80s Hollywood, which was great.
Video Games: Japan. Is there any doubt?
Animation: Tricky one. I could pointing out, the animation work for both american and japanese production is now often done in Korea. But you surely meant the artistic part, not the technical. I think I declare a tie between Japan and the US, both have interesting animation, but very different.
Comics: I probably go with France here. Not sure though, I'm not that deep into comics.
I would add another category you seemingly forgot:
TV Series: Netflix followed by HBO! Wait, these aren't countries? Just kidding. I go with the US on this one. Modern series productions in the US are so much better than what Hollywood currently produces. That is the new Hollywood.
