I had a good time with this game on Wii U, but as was the case with the other Wii U ports, it won't make me buy a Switch anytime soon.

Ya with the exception of Mario Kart, i dont see any of these Wii U ports as individual system sellers but they are solid support titles for people who have a Switch and want to double dip or skipped Wii U.

I do agree with that, they are nice additions for the ones that skipped the Wii U, but none of the Wii U games that Nintendo can still port to Switch have potential as system sellers. Well, maybe Super Mario Maker could move some units, but the rest is either too niche (TMS#FE, W101) not known for moving consoles (Pikmin) or have new games already (Splatoon, 3D Mario) Some would be funny for the reactions alone, what would happen if Nintendo decides to port AC Amiibo Festival instead of making a proper game?

Not sure what the appeal is. I was unimpressed by the Wii U version, too, but I guess I have atypical taste in games.

Good level-design, charming characters, beautiful visuals, and its just a fun, relaxing puzzle game.

Yeah, I'm not seeing any of that for me. But don't let that stop you from enjoying it.

I never played it. Somehow it slipped under my Radar, but 82 on Opencritic is pretty solid. I'll happily pay $40 to have this one my Switch!

Great game, outside of Breath of the Wild probably my favorite on WiiU. I don’t think I’ll buy it again though because I had completed it, all of it, and puzzle games kind of lose their challenge after being beaten. But, definitely a recommendation!

I was hoping I would enjoy it after seeing a fair deal about it on the wiiu, but after playing the demo it just didn't do it for me, just felt nothing while doing the levels, no desire to dig deeper and play more like I have with stuff like rocket league, overwatch and Minecraft...

Next big wiiu Port I'm hoping for is 3d world, after doing 5 shiny stars on my profile in 3d Land in sure world would rock me in for days of play.

I have to admit it, I was almost certain that the honour will go to TloU2, but damn, after playing the demo I caved in. It was everything that I imagined it is, and I can tell that after 3 short levels.

This would have been the "system seller" for me if I would have ever bought a WiiU, and now I can finally play it, and on the go never the less. The game seems to be a gem that is not mentioned nowhere near enough, and if all the other levels are just as fun, It will be a blast.

Are you preordering, planning to get it at one point or not interested at all? Also, how much are you bothered by the fact that the SM3DW levels will be switched for SMO levels? Also, anyone buying the 3DS version? Il download the demo for that later, just to check out how well it works on the system.

I will get it too after playing the demo. But I will get sometime next year.

Out of curiosity what was the other game you preordered in the last 10 years?

I was delighted with it on wiiU. I'd ike to have it on Switch, but as with DKTP (a game I'm very happy is recieving a second life on Switch as well, as it's possibly the best platformer of all time) I'll wait for the price to go down, a Switch selcts line or buy it used.

I've already spent full price on this game, so the sweet spot for me to double dip would be in the 15€-20€ range.

God of War a couple of months back. I know, they are vastly different games but somehow theyt ickle me in the same spot. Hard to explain it, but few games make me think about them during work hours like these 2. I think they will complement eachother very well stylistically

Forgot to mention this part. I had ~ 12 euro worth of gold coins that were expiring on 30.06, this way it cost me only 28 euros in total. And I was simply waiting for the demo, to confimr that its a good port (though I was already pretty much certain of this part, considering that pretty much all WiiU ports were at least poartially enhanced).

It's not like the game will sell out so, I fail to see the point. You might as well wait until it comes out. At least then, if you've changed your mind, you won't have to go through the trouble of canceling etc.

Ya ive never understood the point of pre-ordering something unless it was something that was in high demand or had some type of incentive like a pre-order bonus or a discount.

I enjoyed the game very much on Wii U. However, I will not be buying any of these re-releases, as I don't want to reward Nintendo for doing that crap. It's not fair to them in tendo loyalists who actually owned the Wii U. Those of us that decided to purchase their last, underperforming system, are rewarded by seeing the same games released, rather than new stuff, for the next system.
