Ever since getting a new laptop (which game actually game far better than my potato desktop), I've started to become ever more interested in the PC realm, and today we can all praise lord gabe with his new round of game sales. But seriously, steam sale starts today (probably by the time I finish this post). What games do you hope are on sale today (personally really want The Witcher 3 which I only finished partly because I lost my disk :()?

Ever since they changed the way they handled the Sales, I've also changed the way I approach their Sales. Now I no longer hope for X game to be on sale (because while it may be on sale, it can have a "bad" discount), but rather approach them with a "what can I find?" attitude.

In any case, I'm sure you'll find The Witcher 3 on sale. That game is always on sale.

I've seen it for 30 bucks (GOTY edition). Right now its 27... I mean thats fine I guess. May get Fallout 2, tactics, and 3 as well.

Did you check how much was the game during GOG's Summer Sale (now ended)? Maybe it was cheaper there.

Nope. Honestly, I'll probably get it for 27 dollars. There's lots of content in the game and the DLC from what I've heard is good.

Did they ever bring back the community sales and the lightning sales or whatever they were called? If not I'll just see what's there on the last day of the sale since there's no reason to check it out otherwise. Doubt I'll get anything, Steam sales lost pretty much all purpose when they removed the actual good deals that you had only a small amount of time to take advantage of.

As far as I've seen (not much as it's the first day and runs like crap, as usual on the first day of a sale), no, the Flash sales aren't there. It's a shame, because they were an essential part of the sales, but "we" got greedy and so they decided to get rid of them .

Doubtful, I stopped impulse buying from steam ever since they gave on on QC.
