Samus and Lucina were my mains in smash 4 so I'll be using them the most in ultimate. Ridley is the newcomer that interestes me the most, I love pac-man and I saw some of his changes so I will be playing him, and since I didn't really play the game competitively in brawl I want to experiment with snake.

1p Fox - Another one of my mains but I'm more excited to play the first four I've mentioned.

Though to be honest, I am just excited in general to play everyone. I am still in awe of the fact that everyone is back.

Granted, this particular person has had some stuff wrong like Soul Calibur VI releasing on Switch (it may come, but I'm not holding my breath at the moment), but who knows at this point. We got six more months to speculate.

5p-Wolf, because he's my main, so excited he's back

4p Ridley, because he just looks so damn cool

3p Inkling, because they just look so OP, though it will depend on if they can put down unlimited ink on the stage and swim through it to avoid enemies and command the stage. If they can, they'll be awesome to play, if it's more limited, they'll still be pretty cool.

2p Link, another main, and my favorite Nintendo character, and those bombs look good. I'm digging all the changes.

1p Daisy, I always enjoyed playing Peach, but never was crazy about the character, whereas Daisy is my favorite Mario princess, so I'll play as her, though with the ground game being stronger in this one, the floating ability will probably be pretty nerfed.

Runners up include Cloud and Bayonetta because I never bought the DLC and I like those characters, Young Link because I missed him, Robin because I like swordmages, Zelda because she looks better this time around, Ganondorf because he looks faster and has a sword, Shulk because I liked him but could never use him well because his Monado arts were too hard to select in a timely fashion, and Pokemon Trainer because it'll be fun to have three characters without the stamina debuff.

Also, I just realized that you don't have separate icons for each of Pokemon Trainer's Pokemon, and I know some people will want to specifically main one or two of them. Probably not a big deal for the purposes of this thread, but thought I'd mention it anyway.
