No, momentum is slowing, and Zelda and Mario are the premier flagship IPs Pokemon and Smash are great games but lack the mass appeal of the other two, I hope they make it, but I have my doubts.

Up 700K from last year but momentum is slowing?

Its down around 20% in NA, and 20% in spain, it's only up in japan as far as confirmed numbers.

Let's Go will outsell the main game anyways.

The game had the biggest line and the longest wait at e3 bigger than spiderman, smash or any other game at the convention.

That's interesting to know.  I know Let's Go will be a big deal for kids and Pokemon Go fans.  I didn't think it would get the typical E3 crowd though.  This game may turn out to be as big as a mainline game.

I think the biggest issue will not be what switch offers but what it doesn't.

The list of games not releasing on the switch is not only huge but it also has some big titles like Red dead that will make some people not getting a switch.

If that is case what are you talking about Switch wouldn't had very good sales last and this year.

Nah what I am talking about is that PS4 outselling Switch World wide week after week because the switch doesn't have some of the games,   games like Red dead redemption and others will be so hot in september/October that a group of people will be so affected that they not get a switch but games/other console instead.

I seriously doubt VG numbers would be so off to the point where it is stil not up. So momentum has only increased.

VG numbers have been off by over a million before, so yea it could be easily be off, especially since we haven't got official sell through numbers since 10 million sold.

I would be very surprised. We already know JP and US numbers. We know that Europe and ROTW have seen an overall increase. But I guess it's still possible.

Probably GTA V will be ported in fiscal year 2018 (i.e. until end of March 2019).

Isnt it more like -12% in US (we dont have NA numbers)?

Also, where did you get Spain numbers?
