So it's officially Sonys best selling game.
Haters gonna hate lol. I've been meaning to make a thread predicting that TLoU2 will sell 5 million units week one for a while now. I know TLoU was huge but even this surprised me.
Those are really good numbers for what is the first game in a new IP. Part 2 may pass 10 million before the end of the generation.

They wouldn't factor in Digital Sales.

They will double down with TLOU Part 2 on PS4 and PS5 , mark my words and you can necro bump my comment in "near future" , yup i am confident they will even get double sales in short times.

The Last of Us Part 2’s creators said Ellie is the only playable character, huge disappointment.
It's crazy how Mario Kart 8 has already sold 18 million+ counting the WiiU release. It might actually outsell Mario Kart Wii in the end. I think next gen remasters are a really good way of continuing a games sales legs. It's a no-brainer.
