I'm disappointed too. I approached this E3 with low expectations, only wanting new info on 4 already announced games: Ace Combat 7, Darksiders 3, Metroid Prime 4 and Cyberpunk 2077.

Of the first three, none of them were at E3 (and seriously, WTF is going on with Ace Combat? It was revealed 3 years ago!), and while Cyberpunk was present, the trailer with zero gameplay didn't really tell us anything interesting.

Please excuse my bad English.

Currently gaming on a PC with an i5-4670k@stock (for now), 16Gb RAM 1600 MHz and a GTX 1070

Steam / Live / NNID : jonxiquet    Add me if you want, but I'm a single player gamer.

I give this E3 the highest note, but Nintendo underperfomed so bad.

Eh, AAA wise, this year has been a disappointment for me. next year is looking to improve things a bit more though.

Step right up come on in, feel the buzz in your veins, I'm like an chemical electrical right into your brain and I'm the one who killed the Radio, soon you'll all see

So pay up motherfuckers you belong to "V"

Overall it was a bit more on the disappointed side because 95% of the games were either already announced or predictable (ie. new Halo, Forza, Gears). The only thing that really got me excited was the Resident Evil 2 gameplay and release date (man it's so soon!!) and the new Super Mario Party. Pokemon Let's Go was great as well but they announced it before E3 not sure why.

...but worst of all, this year hardly has any E3 deals for preorder. Last year if you preorder ANY game you'd get 30% off on Bestbuy or on Amazon. This year they have the same BUT its very very few select games so not a lot of options, and limited too, so some are already out of stock for preorders.

MS set the bar too high in anticipation of Sony's conference, so the letdown was much more than what would have been if it was so-so. I didnt expect much from nintendo and i got nothing, so it works out.

To buy list:
-Gears 5
-RDR2 though not at E3 will be out this year.
-AC
-Ghosts of Tsushima
-BF5
-Divison 2
-Fallout 76
-FH4
-DMC5
-Battletoads
-Dying Light 2
-Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
-Shadow of the Tomb Raider
-skull and bones
-Trials
-finally got a look at what halo infinite will look like, more hyped for this than anything. and its just a demo of the engine, but what they could do with it, I cant wait!

I know there are more but that is just some and most are on ps4 and xbox. I am looking forward to this avalanche of releases between fall this year and spring next year.

I wasn't impressed with E3 myself. Nothing really grabbed me except Fire Emblem Switch.

But as for this year in gaming? It's been a great year and will continue to be a great year. There's plenty for me to play. Valkyria Chronicles 4, Dragon Quest XI, Ni no Kuni 2, Shining Resonance, Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition. Not every year will have a Breath of the Wild.

Now E3 was boring. The last E3 I really followed was 2013, when they unveiled the PS4 and Xbox One. And that one wasn't as exciting as when they unveiled the PS3/Wii/360 even though I am enjoying the PS4 and Switch much more than their 7th-gen counterparts. But that isn't because I haven't enjoyed gaming since then. I'm having a better time as a gamer than I've had since the PS2 was a thing.and in a lot of ways, even the PS2 and the Gamecube weren't this good,. It's just that E3 is pretty much a dinosaur from the 90s that really doesn't have much relevance in this day and age when Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft, and the third parties can show off their own offerings throughout the year, on their own consoles and through social media.

this E3 was very bad. theres literally nothing to get excited about, no game innovates, and i cant think of any E3 that had less games as a whole... to make it even worse theres a lot of feminist, sjw, equality BS.

Solid year but this generation is coming closer to an end so it will start winding down a bit towards the 2020 arrival of the new machines
