Which Of The Systems You Don't Own Has The Best Games?

Playstation 4 13 26.53%

Xbox One 5 10.20%

Switch 16 32.65%

PC 4 8.16%

If there is even 1 game o... 11 22.45%

Total:49

I'm curious. What games this generation (Both already out or just announced at this E3) you are seduced by but probably won't play cause they have been/will be released on a machine you don't own and don't plan to get?

Logically your lists should not be too long. If you cared for a ton of games on any given system you don't own, you'd obviously simply buy that system. So first tell us which system you own so that we know where you are coming from. If you want you can add the reason why you don't plan to own a system should your lists be consequential.

I own a PS4 Pro and I don't plan to get an Xbox cause I'm not too much into the philosophy of Xbox games. I don't plan to get a Switch either cause I am not personally interested by a hybrid system but should they release a dedicated home system in the future I would consider getting it but for the time being it is what it is and here are the games I find interesting but won't be playing any time soon.

Microsoft:

- Recore: While not perfect, this game intrigues me and I would have played it if I had planned to get an Xbox.

- Ori franchise: These are nice Xbox games that I will miss.

- Cuphead: Clearly a game I would have loved to play and will miss.

Nintendo:

- Zelda Breath of the Wild: Do I really need to say more about this amazing game?

- Super Mario Odyssey: Having played the previous Super Mario games on GameCube and Wii, this game had to be on my list here.

- Metroid Prime 4: Another amazing franchise I enjoyed so much on GameCube/Wii, I'll definitely miss this game that has me hyped up.

Microsoft:

Forza Franchise - I feel based on what I played and experienced that the consoles I currently own are not pushing out great racers that I find enjoyable namely the arcade/sim mix.

The games you listed + FE: Three Houses, SMT5 and Forza Horizon 4.

Ok but don't hesitate to be more specific and explain in more detail why you don't have this or that system and don't forget to say which system(s) you have as not everybody will immediately be able to know which system you game on.

This is not necessarily easy to do. This tread makes you consider hardware you don't have and the games on those systems that you consider good. I think this is interesting cause it pushes people to look beyond the boundaries of their favorite hardware. We can all speak of the games we love on systems we have but games we'll probably never play on systems we don't plan to buy, not so easy to do

Most of MS's games that require me to use the Win 10 store or their X1.

PS4 is the only system I don't own, so answer by default.

Not worth buying the system only for Spiderman though. And I might have picked up Horizon Zero Dawn. I say might, because from what I've seen it has all of the faults of the cliché open world game. Also I shudder at the idea of aiming with dual analog sticks. Could not finish Shadow of Mordor due to that, and that game was great and also from a treasured franchise of mine. So not going to get a PS4 for 1.5 games.

I get everything I want on my PC and Switch. And if it takes a while to come to PC, I can usually always grab in on Xbox.

Edit: Add Persona 5 to that list.

Forza Horizon 2. I liked Forza Horizon on 360 and 3 is my favourite arcade racing game ever made. Hyped for 4. Sadly don't have an Xbox One to play 2.

Sunset Overdrive. Looks like Infamous so I'd like to play it but no Xbox One :(

I see. But technically speaking if you can play them on your system (PC I assume) then they are not out of your reach and therefore are not games you would love but can't play.

The idea here is to speak of games you think are good or worthy but that you won't play cause not available to your platform and the reason for it. It could be that there are too few games you like on that other platform so you won't get it or it's too expensive or whatever reason. In one line: Games you'd love to play but are on hardware you DO NOT plan to buy.

Any game that Ninja Theory do for Microsoft now that Microsoft has kidnapped them from us :(
Absolutely nothing on switch grabs my attention (hence why I sold my switch which didn’t impress my girlfriend who bought it me)

I can, but because I dislike the horrid store and how it operates, I don't use it, which means those games are effectively locked off for me. It's the same for those that absolutely hate Uplay (and some of us know why) and Origin.

There aren't any exclusive Ouya or Atari VCS games that I'm hyped for and I have access to any other game platform of this decade.

I also don't have problem with using the Win 10 Store, Uplay, Origin or Battle.net for a few games, even if I prefer Steam & GOG.com for PC games.
