The art style kinda reminds me of samurai Jack and I love it

Just a guy who doesn't want to be bored. Also

I thought it was Robotech which i was hoping for but this still looked okay.

No confirmation of exclusivity status. But I'm expecting launch exclusive or console exclusive (might go on PC), at least.

Judging by the trailer I wouldn't be surprised if Nintendo financed it because it doesn't look like a costly title.

Big mechs? Hell yes. I will keep my eyes on this one.

*Skells

It's secretly a colab between Monolith and Marvelous lol

I think these mechs are way bigger. Doesn't matter to me, I like the skells too. I hope there's Kotobukiya kit of one of those daemon mechs later on.

Well, if "doesn't look like a costly title" games were almost all like that, I would probably sh*t my pants more reguraly :P It's clear that Nintendo had a hand on the title though, which would explain why it was the first game showed.

Nintendo are publishing it, too - I would expect this to be exclusive. It's the kind of niche Japanese title Nintendo seem to pick up.

Eh, 'costly' to me is like Nintendo trying to foot the bill for 'Death Stranding'.  You're probably right that Nintendo had a hand in its development because it would have been odd if they gave the first spot of their presentation to a 3rd party game in a relatively niche genre.  If that were the case then they would have led off with Fire Emblem: Three Houses.

I would guess Switch exclusive based on the mech designs alone. Only saw trailer once yesterday, so could be wrong, but the mechs looked like straight from Xenoblade X

Like straight up assets used, thus why I would think it would have a hard time being brought to other systems if its using a Nintendo games assets.

This had me legitimately interested, it looks really good (almost too good tbh :p ) and the soundtrack is dope, some of the developers worked on Armored Core so they have experience in Mech games

Are they sure this is actual Switch footage? It looks pretty damn good, and from what my eyes can tell, it's running at 60fps.
