Man the gameplay is so good! Watching a streamer explain about the gameplay and they said there's new puzzles and it's dark as hell. And it seems UltimateGamer1982 is right they explain that this game is mostly new with a little hint of old things. The graphics look really nice and it does capture the scary elements people wanted. A good mix of Resident Evil 4 in gameplay and Resident Evil 7 in polish.

Man Resident Evil should not go back to first person this game looks awesome.

Looks amazing.

I saw many different locked doors and some puzzles. This is Remake but darker and with a modern perspective.

 

Capcom is doing a good job so far with this game.

I want to stress the fact that Claire is realy young in this game again, the poster bellow is of a quite a bit older Claire, she looks mature, on RE 2 she is suposed to look like she shouldn't even be there.

But you could play the game as Leon first, then as Claire to get the full story and then when you played with Claire first and Leon second the story would change (not that much but still).

Ye but even doing both campaigns and replaying ti again to get the other changes youd go for maybe 7-8 hours. Ppl kinda expect single player game snowadays to last at least around 10 hours and that is for 1 playtrough, we all remeber the shitstorm Order Whatever The Year Is got because it was a 6 hours game.

To be fair The Order was 6 hours long and mediocre but that's off topic. I think you do have a point depending on the asking price and final length of REMake 2, I can see people bitching about it but I don't think I'll be one of them.

I won't either, if its good Im happy, but it is something Capcom probably considered when remaking the game, I wonder what they added to make the game longer. If I had my way Id have interwoven Claire and Leon's campaign and given them each different paths that overlap and you'd jump from one character to the other at certain points in the story. I think they decided to keep it with two completly separate campaings to avoid ppl complaining they changed too much tough.

Since the game is so short, what are the chances of them combining it and RE3 together, giving us 3 different character options, Leon, Claire and Jill? I could see it happening, or either RE3 being DLC. But, like i said, the game is so short anyway.

I don't know why it matters that much to you. The gameplay looks just as great and even better than the original game and Ellie's story has lots of potential for interesting development. It's not like both character would have played differently either. Joel will be part of the story since we already seen him in the reveal and he's mentioned in the gameplay trailer.
