Square Enix announced the “Edition of Light” and “Edition of Lost Time” special editions for Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age on PS4.

The Edition of Light is the day-one edition of the game. It includes the following bonus downloadable content:

  • Supplicant
  • Healer
  • Seed of Skill x3

The Edition of Lost Time will be available exclusively on the Square enix Store and include the following:

  • A copy of the game for PlayStation 4 + reversible box art
  • SteelBook case
  • Art book
  • Symphonic Suite
  • Map of Erdrea
  • Edition of Light Bonus Downloadable Content
    • Supplicant
    • Healer
    • Seed of Skill x3
  • Edition of Lost Time Bonus Downloadable Content
    • Pep Pop
    • Seed of Skill x15

Day 1 for me. My prediction: JRPG of the year... Ni No Kuni 2 or Dragon Quest 11 ^^ Gameplay looks very good.

JRPG of the year should be DQXI, Ni No Kuni II was good, but from what I've seen in DQXI it trumps it. In gameplay time, story, etc. But yeah, I'm getting this on PC day 1.

Edit: Oops, I meant PS4, don't know the specs necessary for DQXI just yet.

In September, this and the new Spiderman-Game - interesting month.

What do you think about the character-design (DQ XI), guys ?? i dont know.. i like the gameplay, but the new character-design is a little bit strange for me personally.

Played a couple of months ago on the 3DS, this one's up there with my favourite games of all time. I'd only put Dragon Quest V and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky above it. Can't wait for the Switch version, will gladly double dip for it.
