And then the beanie girl was the worst part of 4. Who though tit would have been a good idea to make her the lead.

Digital foundry made a nice video about gears, looks absolutely stunning, I didn't know I was ready for another gears but I am after that trailer, lets hope for some good horde mode also.

Imo she was the best character in Gears of War 4.

Kait was the most developed Character in Gears 4, and if anyone remembers the story at all, it mostly focused on kait's Journey to find her mom. Making Kait the main character to play as in Gears 5 makes much more sense than JD from a narrative perspective.

I really hope they bounce back with this one. Gears 4 was ok but I couldn't help but feel it was a step backwards in the series as a whole (sans Judgement). Looks pretty awesome so far. Wish it was playable at E3! The story looks interesting and more engaging though ultimately I play the series for the online play so I hope they really solidify that aspect of it. I felt that was a weak aspect of Gears 4.

I loved Gears 1-3. I still play then to this day! Gears Judgement and Gears 4, not so much. Each entry looks and plays better than the last but I didn't realize how important the story was to keeping me invested. If Gears 5 has a groping story, I'll love it until the day I die!
