Next year should be great for Hack&Slash. I still hold this as the best shown in terms of gameplay. Hopefulle we´ll see more on Sony´s conference.

I hope so, the more competition the better. This, Bayo 3 and DMC 5, yeah it looks like it could be a solid year.

As best Hack & Slash ever (since Bayo 2 is already best in last 10 years for you and even it isn't competition)? I listed at least GoW (at least all last 10 year releases).

So Kojima leaving was already expected at PT release? At no point his struggles there and Sony opening a studio for him as soon as he left was at least surprising? And you just ignored all other that are potentially more surprising than 6 entry on a franchise, why was that?

Nowhere did I say it was competition for the best hack and slash ever, and I didn't say Bayo 2 was the best in the past 10 years, no competition. I only stated Bayo 2 was the best in years, your coming up with 10 years. If you have no desire to actually discuss this based on the points I make instead of whatever you decide to make up, please stop wasting my time. What I did say was Bayonetta 3 has some competition, as in there is another hack and slash game that will release in roughly the same time frame, not knowing what the meta score, or sales, or anything is and you get to see which one comes out on top. Their fairly even in competition as well. It's hard to say it's really competing with a game that came out 10 years ago, you know the sales, you know the scores. At that point it really is more a game trying to dethrone a game than compete with it.

Was Kojima expected to leave at PT (the tech demo, you know Silent Hills wasn't named PT)? No. Was Kojima expected to leave MONTHS before he was fired? Yes. Did Del Toro, and Norman Reedus give away many times that Silent Hills was cancelled? Yes. Did we know Sony was opening a studio for Hideo Kojima before it was announced? Yes. Were we told PT was being taken off the PS store prior to it being taken down? Yes.

As for proof if we knew Kojima was going to get fired, Jesus, it's everywhere. If you want I'll find some and post.

*edit* I'll give you the link, screw it, I had the time.

1) So you want to make one line points and that people to suppose all the rest for you? Fantastic. But if you mean that Bayo3 will have competition launching together ok, not sure why you decided to clarify that only now after going left and right on it.

2) First surprise on that was, where we expecting PT  to be announced and playable at the E3? That is the big no. For all your other yes, at the point they where first announced we didn't know, so not sure why you are injecting caveats to say they weren't surprises.

TheGamingBrit should be happy I think...

I like Devil May Cry but TGBS is insufferable.

DMC 5 is my favourite game at E3.

If you were surprised, that sucks if I were "surprised" by every game I thought would appear or be playable at E3 the surprises would never end. And next time you could ask if you're confused instead of making up our own narrative to what I mean

I really like it. I like the girl too, she seems like she'll be fun and badass. I'm digging the vibe, and also that song is fire!!!

Air dashing looks cool too. Can push the enemy back multiple times. =o

Oh man the gameplay looks amazing. That and the fact that there are three playable characters make me feel actually excited for this game (though I kinda hope that the game goes from being in the city to being in some demonic place :p).

Did you notice the use of two arms? There's a red and blue, the blue he uses so far for lightning, and to slow time, he uses the red to "skateboard". I tried to get the images on here but it isn't letting me, but check it out!

Seems to be multiple arms and skills that you can buy from Nico.

Pretty much the best announcement at E3.

Also it appears Nico is the granddaughter of Nell Goldstein, the creator of Ebony and Ivory.  Interesting...
