Forums - Gaming Discussion - Looking for some co-op suggestions for me and my fiance

Games we have enjoyed, Plants vs Zombies 1 and 2, Orcs Must Die Unchained, Far Cry 5, Ghost Recon Wildlands, Death Squared, Dead Rising 2, Knack 1 and 2, Killing Floor 2, Civilization 5 and 6, probably more I am not thinking of right now

We hated the Division and not a fan of Destiny just throwing that out there

You can make suggestions on games on any platform as I own everything (360, PS3, Wii U, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, gaming PC) but PS4 is both of our primary platforms 90% of the time and you would want to lean in that direction for the most part. I have 3 PS4s, 2 PS3s and 2 gaming PCs, everything else I only have 1 of and would have to be local coop.

Requirements: Must have a platinum trophy that does not take an insane amount of time to get (nothing over 40 hours) we both hunt trophies but there is really no game that can keep her occupied for longer than that.

Must be able to play the entire game in coop (do not really care about coop modes)

If you have any questions or want more details let me know. Really would love a "horde" type game as we both seem to love those. She is a bit pickier than I am (nothing with really dated graphics as she wont play it) 2D and topdown are both pretty much no-gos for her as well.

Try Overcooked and Rayman Legends, those are super fun to play with your spouse. Though Overcooked doesn't have a platinum, they trophies are easy to obtain. I got 100% on it :)

That is the only reason we did not play Overcooked yet. Probably will eventually anyway I have heard terrific things about it. We played Rayman Legends already lol. Thinks for the suggestions though!

You really should, don't let the lack of a platinum trophy deter you.

There's always Minecraft.

Yeah I am a total platinum loser, I rarely play anything that does not have one. She isn't as bad as I am but she prefers to have something to work towards as well. We love platting games together.

You are banned from the thread (jk lol). I knew I should have said "do not say Minecraft" Minecraft does not have the depth to keep us entertained. We platted it on the PS3 and were bored out of our minds.

Everybodies Golf is amazing. Get it, you'll have a lot of fun.
Spelunker World
Metal Slug X

I play co-op games with a friend every week, so I can appreciate your quest for new games.

No idea if you'll like them, since your tastes seem pretty broad, but our favorites have been Borderlands 2, Dying Light, and Rayman Legends (though this is couch co-op only). I might stalk other recs for the same reason though.

I would say all 3 of those are good suggestions. I forgot about Everybodies Golf. Will absolutely be picking that one up
