On amazon that's true but have we any indication nation wide.

Did you just dismissed the bolded part? It's not just on Amazon where the X is far outselling the S. And I'm sure the other shops reflect that too

Yeah I dismissed that part. Read your post quickly and didn't pick it up. I'd like to see an official source for nationwide though. Imo 40% is the maximum it could be.

We're two weeks away from release and it seems like Octopath is charting even better than Xenoblade 2 was doing at this rate.

To be fair, XC2 released during the holidays, so the baselines in the charts are much higher than they do now.

Still, Octopath Traveller is doing really great and not only will sell very well, but probably also push some consoles since it's an exclusive game for the Switch.

After just 2 weeks, it's amazing to see Super Mario Party in the 92nd position of the best sold in 2018 of Amazon. If the Mario Party of Wii U sold 2.12 million, it is very likely that it will sell twice that.

Switch Friend Code = 5965 - 4586 - 6484

PSN: alejollorente10

Octopath Traveler position through different countries on amazon:

US: 9th (+1)
JP: 6th (-1)
UK: 25th (+18)
Germany: 45th(-4)
France: 4th(+3)
Canada: 5th(-1)

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

Ooo why is the switch falling off. That's weird now after staying so strong the last couple months.

As I am sitting here looking at it it's declined 2 or 3 spots and 2 of those are due to the NES and it's wireless controller being made available these past two days.  So it has barely moved at all.  And the Grey Joy Con one is being pushed down by some newly released or upcoming games passing it.  Switch games that is.

So The Crew 2 released yesterday... but I haven't seen it in the top 100 at all and on other amazons it seems like it's not doing particularly well either. I thought the game was a big deal or something, didn't the first game do well?

It sold well but reception was very meh.  Ultimately proved underwhelming and this game is probably suffering under that reputation.

Smash on 20, Octopath Traveler on 57 and Super Mario Party on 92 in the yearlies. Octopath traveler sure does rise quite well through the charts

Why did Amazon stop selling PlayStation?
