It probably wont release before 2021-2022.

TES6 is not a PS4 or XB1 title......... its a Playstation 5 / Xbox Two one one.

Yeah, that really sucks. I had a suspicion with Fallout 4's (loathsome) base-building mechanics though, and their constant focus on re-releasing Skyrim on anything from consoles to windscreen wipers and their seeming focus on ESO, paired with the silence on Elder Scrolls 6. They're clearly shifting focus, just like Bioware have. If it's not a battle royale game, it's bound to be a looter shooter, this is most certainly not a new golden age of gaming as far as I'm concerned.

TE6 & New Doom, was the best things of the show.
The fallout direction is a kick to the balls (for people that like fallout as it is/was).
ESO is crap, they dont do MMO's well.... again this doesnt make me believe in a co-op focused always online fallout.

Without TE6 title pop-up towards the end there, this would have been a bad E3 for Bethesda.

Overall this is like a 6/10.
I think Microsofts conferance was better than this.

TE6 was only a short teaser though, it appears to be very far off yet. They seem more focused on mobile, online focused gaming and other trendy design than maintaining their loyal following of fans of their biggest single player franchises. Which is, of course, perfectly understandable from a business perspective, but still quite sad. Bethesda are just as dependent on market driving design as others.

I found their overall presentation to be quite boring, with Fallout taking this direction, little to interest in Doom and no tangible info on their new RPG IP that was so hyped up before the show, it didn't have much for me. Rage 2 looks like the culmination of all things I dislike in modern single player shooters, reminds me of a Bulletstorm crossed with a poor man's CoD or something.

Starfield and TES6 look like far from launch, probably for PS5/Next XBOX.

The only good thing I have to say about this conference is that Rage 2 looks amazing. As someone who didn't care for the first one at all, they definitely have got my attention with this. The rest? Well...let's just say it didn't do anything for me, personally.

Bethesda E3 Breakdown

Rage Concert- 1/10 That song is pretty cringe and I hate live music at E3

Feel the same.

Rage 2- 8/10 Looks like alot of fun.

Same.

Doom Eternal- 6/10 Not a fan of the IP, but nice for it's fans.

8/10 for me. I like DOOM, but I feeel this was announced a bit too early.

Prey free update, Moon DLC, and MP mode- 7/10 All nice stuff

Haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but NG+ and more DLC is always welcome. 6/10.

Wolfenstein Youngblood- 8/10 Nice to see another Wolfenstein expandalone, the last one was fun.

Definitely feels early for another Wolf Sequel, but I liked the previous two so I'm game. 8/10.

Prey and Wolfenstein VR- 4/10 Meh, don't care about VR

0/10 for me. Not a fan of VR at this moment in time.

Skyrim Alexa Gag- 10/10 Nice to see Bethesda poke fun at themselves for the "where will the release Skyrim next" meme

Turns out it's actually real, and that's pretty neat: https://www.destructoid.com/skyrim-for-alexa-is-legit-can-be-downloaded-right-now-507400.phtml

Fallout 76- 9/10 Looks nice, but the online thing still worries me some, I don't want to get trolled by player killers while I'm trying to quest.

Cautious, but interested in having some co--op Fallout fun. No mod support and likely stuck on the Gamebryo engine, which means no g-sync support. I'll have to wait for PC performance reviews before I even think of buying the game.  6/10 for me.

Elder Scrolls Blades- 6/10 Looks like a good mobile game, might play it

5/10 for me, but I'll give it a shot.

Starfield- 9/10 A bit sad that it's next gen after the rumors it would release soon, but still should be incredible.

9/10 for me and definitely excited to see more.

Elder Scrolls 6- 10/10 Super hype, nice to see them confirm it's in development, also for next gen.

10/10, Todd knows how to please the fans. It's likely to be 6 more years away (yet everyone gives Star Citizen shit for taking it's time).

8/10 final score for me. Was definitely a nice conference to see.

Final Score- 8/10 Would be 9/10 if Starfield was closer to release.

Likely also for next gen GPU's as well.

it was OK. The best thing was the Elder Scrolls 6 announcement but why announce it NOW when it's releasing next-gen AFTER starfield? and I expected to see more of Starfield or at least hear some more info on it. and Fallout 76 I just don't care for at all. the other games that were shown were good, but really nothing amazing.

Take it with a pinch of salt, but Gamestop may have leaked a Switch version of Wolfenstein: Youngblood.

Bet with Intrinsic:

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.

can't believe we won't be getting an Elder Scrolls this gen. and only one Fallout.

and i agree with what others have said. why bother announcing Starfield now? also curious to see what Bethesda mean when they talk about how the technology isn't quite there for the next ES. If it's just raw power to make the game look and run better, then i think that is a very odd reason to skip an entire generation. could they be making a whole new engine?
