Forums - Gaming Discussion - Bethesda Showcase @ E3 2018 Thread (Show over) Fallout 76 coming November 14th, Starfield and TES 6 announced, Wolfenstein: Youngblood coming 2019, and more.

Games were great, but pre-orders for Doom and Wolfenstein went up on Amazon and there's no Switch.

Pretty sure Doom 2016 sold well enough that they'd port over Doom Eternal too. Idk. I'm honestly really upset neither of those are coming to the Switch.. It's making me consider canceling my Wolfenstein 2 pre-order.

Rage 2 and Doom 2 look solid, nothing about the stuff in between excited me, Fallout 76 looks great except the "always online" BS could really kill it for me, I HATE games like that!  Nice to know they have a new IP and TESVI in the next year or so.

But man, a good chunk of that presser until the end was total cringe, especially the two who talked about Prey.  I truly blows my mind that year after year there's at least 1 if not more E3 press conferences that are total cringe fests.

You know I was always wondering why no one ever used the dollar sign for $ony, but then I realized they have no money so it would be pointless.

GUYS, IT'S REAL

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

If people who are better equipped and way stronger than me are able to join my game in Fallout 76 just to one shot kill me everytime they feel like it, so I have to endure that stupid loading screen, then no buy for me.

No Bethesda thread in red at the top like Microsoft's?

Anyway as far as Bethesda is concerned, I got my wishes come true. Doom 2 aka Doom Eternal (hoping it's really a sequel and not some bullshit spin-off online co-op, Battle Royale nonsense) and The Elder Scrolls 6.

Obviously considering how little we saw of those two games, they are not coming before the end of 2019 and probably even 2020 but they are coming.

A DLC for The Evil Within 2 would have been the cherry on top of the cake but all in all it was a good conference, considering I did not think those two games I love were going to be announced. As for the other games, I really don't care.

the stage design was stupid.

Then top that with the worst jokes since the BF5 reveal, even worse, even the crowd was like hur dur.... quietly. even devs and presenters on stage trying to get support in the crowd which even then sounded not very loud.... with 5 -10 people mildly clapping.

andrew WK..... WTF? I about called the suicide hotline.

most horrid, akward, unenergetic conference presentation ever, with terrible stage design.

Yay doom, fallout 76. Finally it was over. thats all I got from it.

That Very Special Edition sketch was the funniest thing to ever happen at E3, pure brilliance!

It’s been seen like a million times on YouTube already! XD

Really looking forward to Doom Eternal and will pick up the Prey DLC at some point. Not interested in Fallout 76 at all. I found the Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 announcements weird, so they are saying they won't be out until the next generation of consoles? If that is the case it seems utterly pointless to announce them now and they only did it to shut people up

6/10 for me. Looking forward to Doom, cautiously interested in Fallout 76, and wanting to see more ES6. Presentation was kinda cringey. Overall, the presentation was average. Not the complete failure that was last year's conference, but I still felt kind of unsatisfied.
