So wait, Fallout 76 is single player? Apparently hearing that the rumors before were false.

I thought I heard it was a online multiplayer thingy? its a single player?

I have no goddamn clue. Looking at the trailer though, I'm really not sure. Guess we'll find out in a few hours.

Made a bet with LipeJJ and HylianYoshi that the XB1 will reach 30 million before Wii U reaches 15 million. Loser has to get avatar picked by winner for 6 months (or if I lose, either 6 months avatar control for both Lipe and Hylian, or my patrick avatar comes back forever).

No fable...dead franchise it is sadly.

Nah, it's not dead. It's the 2nd project that Playground games is working on. It won't be ready until next gen though, that's why it wasn't announced.

Playground started developing the new Fable late 2017. We're not going to see it until late 2019 or early 2020.

An okay thanks for clarifying. Was confused if it was just speculation from fans.

People actually think this was a 9 outta 10? wut?

They gave me what i expected. They showed they are dedicated to first party, Got a new Halo but i would have liked to see more, They changed up the Gears gameplay with Gears 5, Forza looks great, Content for games I enjoy(SoT, PUBG, Cuphead), some nice exclusive surprises like Sessions, Battletoads, and lots of multiplats that i'm looking forward to. If they showed Halo gameplay and had a few more AAA exclusives would have been a 10

Great showing for Microsoft. I think all the big 3 will have great showings this year. We all win

The conference was great!

That's how a E3 show must be. Game trailer after game trailer, it doesn't matter if it's multiplat or not. The special aparences on stage were brief and to the point, there wasn't a single cringe moment on sight.

If I had to rate the show, I would probably give it a solid 8 or 9. :)

I'll give this 7/10. The games I was interested in didn't have gameplay or barely shown gameplay. Man Gears looks good but the story is losing me. Didn't get to play 4 since I don't have a Xbox so might have to watch cutscene movie on Youtube.

I think conferences should be judged based on the situation of that console in its life-cycle, which puts more pressure on Microsoft because they are in a far trailing position. Not only do they have to showcase things that will please their current fans and console owners, they have the burden to showcase things that will attract new consumers. If you're a console owner there may be a few things you are excited about, but lets be completely honest. Nothing about this conference got non-owners excited. In my opinion as someone who owns the console I feel worse post than pre-conference. I can expect basically no new unique experience on this console. Almost all multiplatforms that won't sell best on Xbox and just more of the Halo, Gears, Forza rehashes. Where is the creativity?

For people who say this. Do you guys really expect Microsoft to drop their top 3 games. I get people might not be big fans of these games but these are the first party games that people buy an Xbox for and they have millions of dedicated fans.

Nobody is saying releasing Halo, Gears, and Forza is a bad thing. Its when that is all you are mostly releasing...again...thats the problem. These franchises have all come out for this console generation already and its earned them a solid 3rd place. The point is they need to build upon these franchises with new experiences. Almost everything they've shown as an exclusive is a sequel, and again sequels to games that have helped earn a solid 3rd place.

I think it was a good confrence, but flawed. Needed more Halo gameplay, needed to show Fable 4 or a new ip and remove some of that cringy third party shit (divsion 2 and KH3). The aqusitions are good, but I feel like they needed to go after more GAAS studios. That is where the industry is heading and where they need to go as well.

Mostly all multi's, 5/10 from me.

The Switch will outsell 3DS (based on VGchartz numbers), according to me, while Intrinsic thinks the opposite will hold true. One month avatar control for the loser's avatar.
