The face you make when you're not qualifying from the groups.

About that, you gotta admit that the Argentinian team has some amazing luck. They still have amazing chances to qualify to the next round, and I think they're going to make it, just like how it happened in the qualification process. A draw between Iceland and Nigeria or even a Nigerian victory would stabilize a lot the situation in favor of Argentina.

They're in a good position kind of, but Iceland are more likely to win tomorrow. Honestly I think Iceland have a higher chance of topping the group, then Argentina managing to  qualify.

What's up with Argentina? Why on earth are they starting Meza and Acuna head of Di Maria and Dybala? And why are they basically just shit?

Oh, and why didn't Otamendi get a red card for aiming a kick at Rakitic's head?

they should have gotten multiple cards . at least one more yellow

they are just not good . simply speaking messi isn't gonna do a whole lot against competent defenders. I mean he kind of never did in the world cup but he was ok in the last one

and argentina have not the best defense or the playmaking. they have no gameplan. terrible coach too it seems

Hurray for Croatia for one of the few victories of this tournament that didn't have an Own Goal or a Penalty Kick, and for proving that they are not a pushover.

Tomorrow's games
Brazil 2 - 0 Costa Rica
Nigeria 2 - 1 Iceland
Serbia 1 - 1 Switzerland

Boateng is pretty competent ya know...

And their team isn't that bad, they really should be better. Well going forward at least, any country with Messi, Aguero, Higuain, Di Maria, Dybala, Pastore, Icardi etc really should be brilliant going forward. So why aren't they? Them being shit in defence is more understandable given the lack of quality there, but there really is no excuse for their forward line.

again. club soccer is a joke

Gogogogogo brazil 7-0 tomorrow

Some big changes in the prediction league today. pattyboy60 now has a 1 point lead at the top ahead of GoOnKid. A good day for S.Peelman too who picked up an impressive 15 points and went from 10th to 3rd.

Sweet. I’m going to be wrong on the tournament winner it seems though.

One correct score, one correct result and one.. ahun.. blatently wrong today.

Tomorrow:

Brazil - Costa Rica 3-1
Nigeria Iceland 0-1
Serbia - Switzerland 1-2

Brazil 2-0 Costa Rica
NIgeria 0-1 Iceland
Serbia 1-1 Switzerland

Having seen both Ronaldo and Messi in person this world cup imo Ronaldo is far superior. Obviously he's scoring and Messi isn't but more importantly Messi spent more time hiding on the wings or behind his midfield then actually attacking.

Meanwhile Ronaldo is effectively attacking and putting it some proper defensive work. I was about 20m from some of his clearing headers and man he has a serious jump.

Also modric you little beauty. He was the real Messi tonight. A joy to watch and he works so hard off the ball to make space for himself, something Messi doesn't do.

Honestly, I don't think Messi really wants to play for this Argentina side. He's there so moreso because other people want him there than because he wants to himself, if anything he just looks frustrated at how shitty everything around him is. His attitude today was glaring, really.

messi never looked like he wanted to even last world cup he came up sometimes tho. so you can say he did last world cup

but hes always performed worse than Ronaldo internationally. he just usually had a better team since portugal rest of the squad is suspect.

Messi was waiting for his team mates for executing a set-piece. Aguero seemed to do the job to an extent but he was sent off quickly after Rebric's goal. The start should have been with Pavon and Dybala. I just feel Sampaoli is not up for it...the coach is primary reason for today's misfire using oldies in the midfield and a defense that could not complement their 3-4-3 formation. Croatia rocked it with just one forward striker in 4-5-1 which proved them worthy.
