So Sarri is confirmed for Juve it seems, what an odd season for Chelsea, treated as a bad manager, won Europa league adn came third in prem.

I wish him luck, British media didn't give him enough respect. Lampard will likely be less useful.

Hmm, pie.

The new EPL rules may cause some confusion.

All great chances as far as I've seen. Handball has been returned to what it should be, so accidental hands that provides an advantage for the offense will be a foul.

The card one is the latest change in favor of offense. Man, when I was young, it used to be offside when an attacker was on the same line as the last defender, and when in doubt, the assistant was supposed to side with the defense. Anyway, the change to the card rule will have a major impact on tactical fouls. The way it has been, a counterattack could be interrupted with a foul and the ensuing card gave the defense more than enough time to regroup. That tradeoff was absolutely worth it for the defending side. With the new rule, a tactical foul will result in a card without slowing down the game too much. Intelligent players can take advantage of this by resuming play right after the whistle has been blown.

This is more or less an extension of the rule that an offense can keep playing in spite of a foul that has happened; you know that a good referee doesn't blow the whistle immediately when he can expect that another player of the offense will pick up the ball. Delayed yellow cards already existed with this rule, so the change above doesn't present a totally new situation and enforcement.

Legend11 correctly predicted that GTA IV (360+PS3) would outsell SSBB. I was wrong.

The Serie A has a lot of that where tactical fouls are committed to give the defending team a moment to regroup.

Colombia have possibly ended Messi's international career.

AC Milan have been banned from Europe for breaching FFP.

This Argentina team reminds me of 2010 era Liverpool.

Well, Fat Frank is now Chelsea manager let's see how he does compared to Sarri (who came 3rd and won the Europa). I expect high expectations and low results. :P

Also a good example of the disparity between Premier League and lower league clubs. Man United have just renewed Rashford's contract paying him 200k a week (well worth those 10-13 goals a season). Macclesfield can't afford to pay their players.

I doubt there's high expectations as they've just lost their best player and have a transfer embargo. That and his status at the club may get him some time but who really knows with Chelsea?
