Wanted to catch on the transfers market, I was surprised to read that Valverde is still leading Barca? I assumed he'd be out by the end of the season. Don't think new signings will make them a better team, unless it's another game changer like Messi.

So, PL transfer window has closed and Liverpool vs Teemu Pukki will launch the season tomorrow.

I'm pretty happy with our transfer business this summer. I still think we needed one quality centreback but I guess you can't fix everything instantly. But with Tierney, Nicolas Pepe and Ceballos on board our squad looks solid enough for top 4 finish. Holding & Bellerin will hopefully be back soon. David Luiz came out of nowhere (if the deal happens at all) and while he's not the best defender we can really use his passing and playmaking skills. It'll take pressure off Xhaka and improve us.

Aubameyang & Lacazette signed new contracts. Iwobi is apparently sold to Everton for good chunk of money. I hope we'll get rid of Mustafi, Elneny and Mkhitaryan soon and give promising youngsters like Nelson, Martinelli, Willock and Smith-Rowe more minutes.

We're around 3 quality signings away from being a really strong team. Thing is, with Wenger and old regime we'd never make those signing but now I'm absolutely certain we will. Future is looking good atm. Now it's up to Emery to deliver.

This is it. Let's go. Fantasy Team is done. Bets placed. Saints signings made. Bring on actually having something to do at the weekend again (Watch football).

Hmm, pie.

I changed my team a hundred times today!

But i think i'll go with this team! how's yours?

I reckon City will win again sadly, by a more handsome margin than last season (around 10-15 points).

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Give it time, they'll have their downtime like last year... I hope.

My Fantasy team choices were not great. Went for a risky captain but that failed but I had Sterling and Aubameyang, so that's something. Will need to make changes already.

Hmm, pie.

It's going to be a long season for Chelsea

Thread died a bit, title needs a change too.

Bury FC are no more. Bolton are looking to follow soon. Bad time to be north of Manchester it seems. Bolton's Prem success ruined them as wages were no doubt too high for the leagues they were in while Bury were just poorly run. Even promotion couldn't save them.

It's odd to think that the monthly wage of some players in the prem would save Bury completely.

Hmm, pie.

Damn it'll be a shame to see Bolton disappear they were a pivotal fixture when they were in the epl. They had quite a sharp team as well with players like Okocha, Djorkaeff (spelling?), Ivan Campo etc...

They were the bane of the top half teams with Arsenal being their favourite opponents and this was the invincibles era Arsenal mind you. Hard tackling, direct but with some flair especially when Okocha was on the ball.
