He's not the best, but we have Bertrand, it's about time Liverpool bought a player from saints isn't it?

I wouldn't mind getting a better backup LB, but Bertrand has played for Chelsea, so no thanks.

(And yeah I know we have players that have played for Chelsea, most notably Salah, but it's just... Bertrand has that "Chelsea vibe" to him, if you know what I mean.)

Yes, definitely, Romeu has the same feel. :P

Hmm, pie.

Einbahnstraßenfußball in Dortmund

What does that mean? It must be good though, because 7-0! :O

Einbahnstraße means one-way street. So basically he says a total domination by Dortmund.

Reminds me of Peter Enckelman's own goal in the Midlands derby. Not the sort of game you want to make that mistake in as a Villa goalkeeper.

Leverkusen - Dortmund 2-4 awww fuck. This means Hradecky will be on terrible form next week on myClub. Got to use Ederson instead.

BBC saying Mahrez has missed 5 of his last 9 pens. Glad he stole it off Jesus there. Pretty sure it'd still be travelling if there was no stand behind the goal.

Not only for him missing it, but also because of how embarassing it'd be to have Jesus score against you.

Like in the Champions League second leg last season?

Fuck this piece of shit team and their piece of shit luck and their piece of shit referees. I fucking hate them.

Can't believe how long they've been riding this luck against us. It was Willian's lucky goal last year, then us missing a couple of sitters at Stamford Bridge, now Sturridge misses another sitter and then hits the post while they score a goal from a free kick which wasn't a foul, only to then score from an offside position which the VAR spent 3 minutes looking at only to give the goal anyway. It's like football is guaranteed to always be 100% bullshit when it involves Chelsea, ugh.

What are you on about, luck? Sturridge was lucky the ball went to him in the first place to score that goal and Hazard made four of your players look like shit and scored a screamer.

If you want luck try Sturridge goal at the Bridge in the 90th minute after Hazard fucked up the one on one with Alison to kill the game.Liverpool should have had 4 losses in a row but some how got lucky in out game and the Man City game.

Welcome to two weeks ago. Also, I was salty.

I wasn't wrong, though. Chelsea's equalizer in the EFL Cup game was a whole load of bullshit with the non-existant foul (featuring even a yellow card) and then the ignored offside. And about making our players look like shit, well... it isn't very hard to make shit players look like shit, and the only non-shit player who was near Hazard for that goal was Naby Keita, who guess what, didn't make a challenge exactly because he had just been booked for a fair challenge which led to an offside goal. Great stuff.

Also, calling Sturridge's 90th minute equalizer "luck", when it's already a goal of the season contender, is quite a little absurd. You can blame Hazard for missing the one-on-one all you want, but Alisson also did very well, and saying Chelsea deserved the 3 points based on the run of play is also quite absurd when Liverpool had several glaring chances, such as the Shaqiri sitter, David Luiz' clearance off the line, Rudiger's clearance from Salah, Salah's slightly misplaced pass which nearly gave Firmino a tap-in, and Kepa's great save from Mane. Liverpool had loads of chances in that game, many more than Chelsea, however Chelsea's were better in general. I'd say the draw was definitely a fair result and even Sarri himself admitted that right after the game, when normally any manager would be upset about losing 2 points like that.

The Manchester City result was also fair. Neither team did anything to win the game, both attacks were underwhelming, and both defences played superbly. Sure, we were lucky with the penalty miss, but a 1-0 win for City wouldn't reflect how the game went at all.

If anything, before you call me biased as fuck or whatever, I'd also say the Napoli result was quite undeserved. They should have won 3-0 or 4-0, and we were extremely lucky to nearly hold on to the draw. We played like crap and deserved nothing out of that, so, there you go.

Thanks for welcoming me back to vgchartz after a month of being away. And seeing you call Sturridge goal contender for goal of the season and finding every fault with Hazard's, then yes you would be bias.

Sturridge goal was caused by Barkley giving way the ball under no pressure followed by Kante allowing him to shoot followed by Kepa jumping to early.Does that dispute it was a worldie?Of course not.You mentioned Luiz ,Rudiger and Kepa all doing there jobs so where is the luck in that. The only luck was Shaqiri missing a sitter because of Azplicutea missing the whole ball in the first place.Anyway, that was two weeks ago and we're all level on points.

Does anyone actually understand wtf the whole nations league is and how it's meant to play out?

I thought the WC was just a choke by the Germans but it seems they really need to overhaul the team, shame it was one of the best teams in history.
