Something tells me Pickford regrets his comments about Alison's blunders now.

Bobby Firmino! What a man. Deserved victory. Salah looking off the pace though.

I take it red cards can be rescinded on appeal in the Champions League? That decision was farcical.

Even with VAR the average Dutch ref is still a complete idiot

Expected result for Saints this week, after the disappointing Monday, they need to beat wolves to bump their moral up again.

Hmm, pie.

So how long until Mourinho is kicked out?

Bundesliga - Matchday 4

Schalke 0-2 Bayern
Stuttgart 0-0 Düsseldorf
Hoffenheim 1-1 Dortmund
Leverkusen 1-0 Mainz
Frankfurt 1-1 Leipzig
Augsburg 2-3 Bremen
Berlin 4-2 Gladbach
Wolfsburg 1-3 Freiburg
Nürnberg 2-0 Hannover

Schalke unsurprisingly earned their fourth loss in this young season. Dortmund was heavily outclassed throughout the entire game and when things got worse for them with a red card, they somehow managed to score the equalizer for a very lucky point. Leverkusen got their first points this season while Bremen benefited from a late embarrassing mistake by Augsburg's goalkeeper. Gladbach's display on defense was so atrocious that it was a miracle that they conceded only four goals; meanwhile, Hertha BSC Berlin can celebrate their personal best start into a Bundesliga season. Freiburg picking apart Wolfsburg was a surprise.

Looking at the standings, things are thinning out at the top as Berlin remains the only team within striking distance of the serial champion Bayern. Hannover and Stuttgart show how difficult year 2 in the Bundesliga is while Nürnberg and Düsseldorf are looking solid in year 1; that's how these things commonly play out. Still early in the season, so it's hard to predict where teams are going to settle. As mentioned last week, the early season schedule has distorted reality quite a bit.

Also fuck Alberto Moreno, the worst left back I have ever seen. He somehow seems to only get worse everytime he plays.

He's not the best, but we have Bertrand, it's about time Liverpool bought a player from saints isn't it?

Hmm, pie.

Wow Sevilla trashed Real Madrid. First la liga game I watched this season. Have the current CL champions struggled so bad in other matches as well?
