I think that’s about it. There are probably more reasons, but these are the ones I observed the most recently.

1. England is the underdog, and their fans are only too happy to acknowledge this.

2. Neither have Belgium, but people are going for France.

3. English fans behaviour? Have you seen the Croatian fans? The level of racism they show is pretty alarming. Swastika flare shows, etc.

4. 66 was a steal, at least they didn't cheat / bribe it. Check prior wins for Italy, etc.

5. Why is it fun to see England fans lose over any other nation?

Good puns, but I don't see it.

Not exactly sure how England are the underdogs when all English media/fans are rejoicing at how easy their path to the final is. 

The thing is, you then see those same people claiming that England deserves to be in the semi-final because they beat Sweden.

England thinks it's a football powerhouse when the only reason their players all play in the premier league is because no other international league wants them.

Not saying they don't deserve it, by all means it will be great to see them win but other teams deserve it just as much if not more.

I think the main obstacle is money - english premier league players are pretty sure to get lower (often signicantly lower) pay when signing up for a similarly tiered team outside the EPL, so there is little incentive to them to leave the league. And to lots of non-EPL teams the players are too expensive in transfer cost/pay so there is little interest to sign them.

No dude the fans and media never said any such thing other than it's a manageable path to the final as you don't have to go through Brazil and France as that bracket was harder it's been constantly said that the path to the final is still hard, some of you are taking things way out of context.

Yeah they deserve to be in the Semis that's how a tournament works you beat what's in front of you, Italy beat Australia and Ukraine to get to the semis when they won in 2006 is this going to be your go to argument to downplay their achievement because you're going to have to do the same for many teams that have won or gone far.

They are a power house in football the league is one of the strongest with their teams consistently doing well in Europe and now the national team is in the semis the only reason other leagues don't get their players is money.

They deserve but they don't? Contradiction, fact is they've performed well and beaten the teams in front of them if other teams couldn't do the same then they don't deserve to be there more.

I want england to lose just so i can laugh at carl, i dont want the french to win cuz they are baguettes i dont want belgium to win cuz i could never show my face there ( wouldnt mind it really tho ) so my only option are that balkanwarring country

Because of the way English try to gate North American fans of the sport makes me want their national team to fail.
