Egypt vs. Uruguay was a bad game. Egypt with no intent to go beyond an 0-0, but at least Uruguay stepped on the gas for the final ten minutes plus injury time. They scored on their third great chance in that period, so their goal didn't come out of nowhere.

Morocco vs. Iran had Morocco start very fast, but by the middle of the first half Iran started to get on equal footing. It was the first time in this tournament that both teams that played had real scoring chances. The second half was dreadful and the final moments were a giant facepalm. Iran got a win by sheer luck.

Portugal vs. Spain surprised me with how good it was. I expected the typical cautious opening match of two big teams, but in reality it was an entertaining back and forth with a lot of goals. Also a great showing by Ronaldo who I predicted to win the Golden Boot. Another bunch of goals from him against Iran and Morocco would be great.

Prediction for Saturday's games:

France vs. Australia 3-0
Argentina vs. Iceland 1-0
Peru vs. Denmark 0-1
Croatia vs. Nigeria 2-0

Great analysis of the games!

Portugal vs Spain was one of the best World Cup games in the last decade. Such an incredible game.

And what was up with Suarez? He was really poor today. Oh well, 2 games left for Egypt to get through the group.

He's had nothing to bite, so he's probably very hungry and weak.

Need something off Play-Asia? http://www.play-asia.com/

France 4-0 Australia
Argentina 3-1 Iceland
Peru 1-1 Denmark
Croatia 1-2 Nigeria

Ronaldo is God.

Can you please stop putting scores in the thread title. Some people work during the live games and TBH i did not think a game site would spoil the game for me lol.

Ah, sorry. I'm someone who'd follow the score even during work, I'm not patient enough to wait until after to watch the game, so never even thought about spoiling it for people. I'll stop putting them in the title from now on though.

All good appreciate it. Tell you what it was one hell of a game though.

Can we call portugal - spain the best interland since brazil - germany ?

Instead of seeking to convince others, we can be open to changing our own minds, and seek out information that contradicts our own steadfast point of view. Maybe it’ll turn out that those who disagree with you actually have a solid grasp of the facts. There’s a slight possibility that, after all, you’re the one who’s wrong.

Predicting everything in one go isn’t the best thing to do because I forgot what I predicted.

Anyway, reposting it, this was it, I’m still confident enough in these.

France - Australia 3-1
Argentina - Iceland 1-0
Peru - Denmark 1-1
Croatia - Nigeria 1-0

Forgot the games started so early so I';; leave France Aus out.

Peru 0 - 0 Denmark
Argentina 3 - 0 Iceland
Croatia 0 - 2 Nigeria

Hmm, pie.

This france wont get far if australia keeps defending like this
