You think beating Croatia would be easy? |
After what I’ve seen in their match against Denmark, instead of ranking them as a B tier team, I’d put them as C tier. If England plays well, it should be easier than Colombia was, for example.
Bet with Teeqoz for 2 weeks of avatar and sig control that Super Mario Odyssey would ship more than 7m on its first 2 months. The game shipped 9.07m, so I won

Maybe you should start to care about more/different teams then? Oh, and as somebody who usually supports the Dutch I can assure you it's not the same every time. Those beautiful orange shirts aren't even here this time I've still got other teams I'd like to see win/lose though |
There are are quite a few teams I like to see do well that actually make it to the Round of 16, but they can never make it it to the quarterfinals. 2010 was the first World Cup I remember.
2010: Japan, Korea, Mexico, USA. All go out in the Round of 16.
2014: Mexico, USA. Both go out in the Round of 16.
2018: Japan, Mexico. Both go out in the Round of 16.
Uruguay 1 - 2 France
Brazil 4 - 0 Belgium
Croatia 1 x.0 Russia
Sweden 0 x 2 England

I'm not so sure about that... "Penalty shootouts will not be taken into consideration for the final score." Wasn't really expecting this so not sure how to deal with it. I'm going to go ahead and give the 3 people affected this time, as well as any in the future, the 1pt for the correct score still. |
Yay points!
And the day after tomorrow;
Uruguay - France 2-2 France on penalties
Brazil - Belgium 2-1
You know, something that keeps me from being able to get into club soccer is the promotion/relegation system. Like why would I want to stick with a team if they may not even be in the same league the next year?

At least they'll still be in the same city Promotion/relegation is a good thing though. It means even fans of smaller clubs can hope to see their team one day playing at the top level, that's why you stick with them. They could go on to bigger and better things, or if they go down you stick with them in the hope they come back up. Plus if they go down a division then they'll be one of the favourites to win the new league they're in, so that's another reason to stick with them. |
But if your favourite team moves out of the top level, and you want to continue watching your team, you'll have to watch non-top level football, and I prefer watching top-level sports. So, the only solution would be to pick a powerhouse, or to jump from team to team.
