MS has their staple of franchises just like Nintendo and Sony. I would wish that they made some variations, for example making a Gears RPG, Halo SHMUP and so on but I always welcome new games in these franchises =).

Maybe the next game is made by another studio MS put to work on it, and not insomniac?

I would love another Halo and Gears with better stories this time.

Nope, Sunset Overdrive is owned by Insomniac, MS were the publishers.

This rumor was already debunked yesterday that Sunset Overdrive 2 isnt in development. I think Insomniac whole studio is building Spiderman and after that they will start next spiderman game as was teased/said as being multiple spiderman games. The Fallout game was actually leaked November 2017 in 4chan and the reddit leaker might he took it from there. Halo, Gears and Forza are pretty much given. Halo 6 probably get teased and they will show Forza Horizon and Gears spinoff. Other than that I dont expect much else for reminder of the generation, maybe some super lucky tale sized game.

I’ll be watching their conference solely for more Ori 2 info. If all they have is Halo, Gears and Forza, I’ll keep ignoring MS. These games are not really my thing

It brings in good revenue flow from the loyal established fans of those series. Bring on the next Halo/ Gears and Forza games.

Did they stop? The only games outside of those three franchises that they put out that didn't end up mediocre are Ori and Cuphead.

Even then, the Horizon games are the only ones that are as good as they ever were. Gears and Halo need work and the Motorsport games have continued their gradual slide into obscurity.

Nah, the reason Incomniac went with MS over Sony was MS was letting them keep the IP.

Anyways, more Gears Halo and Forza. Nothing wrong with more quality games being made.
