Is it related to signatures? That's the main thing that I can think of. Or is it being able to moderate people via their post, or do people's IP addresses show up under their post or something?

...I'm sure it goes without saying, but I'll ask anyway: You're attempting to do this on a mobile device, right?

Not really, the forum display changed, and I thought I could change back to the old version =p  (can't see my recent threads on the left like before and seems each post takes a lot more space than it did before makes it for me less comfortable to go trough a thread).

You just need to pull down the new forum buddy from the top, click the "square with the arrow" so you can move it, and park it in the left column (if that's what you want)...
