I don't get why you didn't call the cops on them straight away. I probably would've done that the moment I found their identity, and I also don't get why you're trying to message them, are you doing that to find out their reasoning? If so you are a much greater person than I am.

That sucks. I heard of a person having their identity stolen by someone but not realizing it for years til he went to buy a house. The loan people told him he already had a house and a !oan for it. Turns out the person who stole his identity bought a house and kept paying all of the bills associated with the house with their own money for years. The theft just wanted to buy a house but couldn't with their credit score.

Anyway, you should talk to the cops.

Be careful, just because it has an address etc doesn't necessarily mean that the person doing it lives there, they could simply have access to the mail there or even access to intercept the mail and deliveries before they arrive there. The ONLY thing for you to do is ring the bank and police, do not message them under any circumstances, all you are doing is alerting them to the fact they need to move on to the next person.

There can be lots of benefits for them to keep you account open and the bill being paid. e.g. using it for black market purchases, using it as a method to authenticate themselves as legitimate to other banks or authorities. When it gets discovered they can just vanish leaving the authorities with fake addresses and names.

Why would you contact criminals lol?
