English dub is terrible. Japanese dub is way better, I suggest you try it.

Frame rate is a real issue mainly in cities. There are some drops here and there in the most demanding areas as well, but nowhere near as bad as the 15-20 fps in Torigoth or Mor Ardain with a specific weather condition that really kills the performance there.

Yes i know i downloaded the Japanese dub and currently i'm still switching between them can't decide.. it bugs me a lot that during battle or exploring when they talk there is no eng subtitles. Well it's not that it's terrible i mean it's not great but it's fine but the problem is that it doesn't match their lip movement  most of the time and comes across soooo baaaad and funny. I noticed the game has a lot of these small annoying problems like seriously wtf why are monsters level 80-90 running around the first city you visit so annoying when they just come and insta kill you !

Well i noticed frame drops in Torigoth and around it and when there is a lot of stuff happening on screen it's fine actually it's for only 2 seconds but damnnnn 15-20 fps ?? wth man it doesn't drop that bad even when i'm playing in handheld. Maybe the patched it since the last time you played it.

That part is great though. Makes the world feel real. I hate when a game is the cliché, oh all enemies in this area are lvl 1-10. All enemies on this area are 8-16 or some junk. Not only is it not realistic, it makes it so that you end up having zero reason to ever come back to prior areas.

I just wish it was more consistent through later parts. The game still does the 1-10 enemies for this area, or 30-40 on this continent, ect. They just have some lvl 70 or 90 to make it feel somewhat different. Be nice if on a lter planet you still saw some lvl 5 enemies. Not as many mind you, but still some.

It’s annoying .. how is it realistic to have sooo many enemies cramped around whats basically the starting point of the game and with such higher levels aand so close around a living city where people and children live. 😂 Anyway got a question when did the game started getting really good for you ? how many hours in ??

If you encounter drops to the teens in FPS, you may be experiencing an occassional performance bug.  I believe it's a memory leak.  If it persists, restarting the game fixes the issue.

English dub was the best way to play this game imo. It wouldn't of been the same I feel like not being able to understand what everyone is saying directly.

I think the different accents(based on actual english accents) in the game gives it a lot of character.

I went to listen to these so-called superior Japanese voices. I can confirm, no... no they are not better than the English =P

1. The voices in Japanese all sound kind of hammy/cartoonish, and don’t fit the characters.

2. Often you get a culture clearly based off of medieval England and you get some sort of American accent, which sounds really odd and takes you right out of the experience. Xenoblade 2’s Xenoblade dub is one of the few that actually goes the extra distance and base cultures off of locations in the UK and match up the proper accents:

Mor Ardain = Scotland - Alba Calvinich is the capital... Damn Scots and their Imperial tradition!

Gormotti = Wales, Leftherian = Yorkshire, Uraya = Cockney, Tantal = Winchester, Elysium & Torna terrorists = US, Indoline = London

I describe myself as a little dose of toxic masculinity.

Uraya is Australian, actually :P

But I also appreciate that different regions have different accents.

For me the biggest problem with the JP is Gramps.   Not only do I not like the voice, it is THE  MOST generic old man Japanese voice I've ever heard.
