^ Ew.

Both ew at hating on GotG Vol. 2, and ew on loving Taika for his extremely overrated movie.
Just ew.

Amen on both counts...

As for Gunn, while it sucks for me as a moviegoer, this is the culture he fostered, as you can see in the tweets above. I can't really feel sorry for him when he smugly celebrated others being fired over similar issues. What goes around comes around, as they say.

I think most of all I'm shocked he still had all of this up so many years later, and even more shocked it took this long for someone to pounce on him for it.

Last week two famous people in Brazil that were asking for the head of a Youtuber for comments they found racist (a lot of people found it, but more like those cases that the racism was in the ears than on the mouth) and had some older tweets exposed and also lost contracts (and in Brazilian internet nothing is truly deleted... besides caches of old being stored there are plenty of printscreens saved around just waiting to show up... it doesn't even take hours for they to show).

duduspace11 "Well, since we are estimating costs, Pokemon Red/Blue did cost Nintendo about $50m to make back in 1996"

Mr Puggsly: "Hehe, I said good profit. You said big profit. Frankly, not losing money is what I meant by good. Don't get hung up on semantics"

Azzanation: "PS5 wouldn't sold out at launch without scalpers."

Can't wait to see the final trilogy flopped. Unless they do something to TLJ bad story and remove it entirely from starcraft canon then it may have a tiny ray of hope in the cinemas.

Well, I haven't updated in about 3 weekends, so I figured I would give a quick update. Surprisingly, not much has changed (LOL!)

This weekend Solo made only $151.89K. This is actually ~$254K less than IW made this past weekend, and that film has been out 4 weeks longer than Solo. This brings its DBO to $212.73M. It's FBO now sits at $177.38M, making its WW total $390.11M.

Solo's DBO is now 59.8% lower than RO's for the same point in time. If this holds, Solo will finish with $213.94M. If the FBO holds, it will finish its WW run with $392.55M. This is $663.51M less than RO made.

Huge Star Wars fan my entire life. I've seen every movie in theaters since Return of the Jedi when my parents took me. After the disappointed (I'm my eyes) of the last Star Wars movie, I decided to sit out on this one. Well, yesterday a friend of mine was watching it. I saw about thirty minutes of it and I have to say, I liked what I saw. It had the fun moments without all of the "Uncharted banter" that I hate. I'm looking forward to finishing the movie and I'm actually regretting not seeing/supporting it at the box office.

At the end of the day Solo was a moderately decent and enjoyable ‘get from point a to point b’ Saturday matinee style spaceship bang bang shooty shooty action movie which is all Star Wars was intended to be in the first place.
