Yeah, nope Disney had a lot of other bombs besides Solo and A Wrinkle in Time recently.  Like the Alamo, Mars Needs Moms, John Carter, The Lone Ranger and The Finest Hours just to name a few.  And none of those bombed because of SJW.  As I said before movies pretty much bomb because they are bad not due to some SJW backlash.

Don't see the point you're trying to make with this post. Yes, movies can be just plain bad without SJW messaging. However, when it is so obvious that the focus of the film is to push SJW messaging, you can't conveniently ignore that fact to try and claim that the messaging isn't what made it bad.

But  all religions basically are based on myth and legends that involve a battle between good and evil so they really didn't remove the religious references from the movie.  Also there are a ton of movies that aren't considered religious that have numerous religious references.  For example a lot of Martin Scorsese's movies have a lot of religious references.

And I'msure that's the same stretch in logic Disney tried using. Sorry, religion doesn't work that way. They aren't interchangeable and you can't try to make it a general good VS evil story. You can't take a Christian novel and adapt it, taking out all of the Christian references, and expect fans of the book to be fine with it.

I haven't watched Solo. What SJW elements does it promote?

Well, you have a robot who is a blatant SJW in the film.  And while it apparently isn't really pushed too hard in the film, they turned Lando into a pansexual, something he was not in the OG trilogy.  Of course, the film came with the now trademark Lucasfilm SW fan bashing on social media.

I was going to watch it today and it was not at my theater anymore. I don’t care if it sucks I would probably find something enjoyable about it.

More trouble for Disney:

James Gunn Fired as Director of 'Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3

Gunn’s career has spanned two decades, writing hit films as the 2004 remake of “Dawn of the Dead” as well as writing and directing both “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 1” in 2014 and its sequel “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” in 2017 for Disney. Why the hell would they fire one of their most successful and respected guys? He disagreed with Kennedy on something?

He tweeted some jokes about rapists and pedophiles and stuff... 10 years ago. Like, yeah, before he was hired.

Yeah, I just saw that. I saw the tweets too. It's a complete overreaction IMO, nothing that shocking.

Well, too bad for Disney, he won't be easy to replace.

^ Ew.

Both ew at hating on GotG Vol. 2, and ew on loving Taika for his extremely overrated movie.
Just ew.

Amen on both counts...

As for Gunn, while it sucks for me as a moviegoer, this is the culture he fostered, as you can see in the tweets above. I can't really feel sorry for him when he smugly celebrated others being fired over similar issues. What goes around comes around, as they say.

I think most of all I'm shocked he still had all of this up so many years later, and even more shocked it took this long for someone to pounce on him for it.
