A upscaled port would get knocked for the graphics, I want Pitt and crew to get their chance to shine with very good to great visuals plus being able to use legit dual analog controls for movement and aiming out of the box.

Not enough people got experience Sakurai 's other masterpiece.

You beat me to it. Yes, Uprising would be a perfect fit for the switch. Let's not forget they coul even add pointer controls.

On your list, in this order:

1. Xenoblade Chronicles HD - and the only reason it’s not on my list is because I am exshausted of this game (for now, but I would probably want it later) - I find it has the lowest replay value of all the Xenogames (all of whichever i have played twice or more now) mostly because it suffers from a similar effect of Xenosaga Episode 1 where there are rewarding portions (Seeing Satorl at night, Machna Forest, Frontier Village, Fallen Arm) interspersed through some real slogs (The Ether Mines, the temple of Satorl climb, Valak Mountain, Sword Valley, all of Mechonis, Bionis interior, Prison Island, etc...). Xenosaga episode 1 has the encephalon... and oversized areas, don’t get me wrong - Xenosaga Episode 1 has most of my favourite segments of the Xenosaga series, and IMO the most rewarding and captivating cutscenes, but it has too many HUGE empty feeling exploration sections. Still, I haven’t played it nearly as much as XC1, and it’s a much shorter game, so that’s why it’s on my list.

If I would need to say just one single Nintendo game and single one 3rd party game, I would said Metroid Trilogy HD and GTAV.

Xenoblade Chronicles HD and Kid Icarus Uprising HD (with dual stick support) would be excellent.

Tokyo Mirage Sessions is a great game butchered by the localization. I'd only buy that if they revert it back to the original Japanese version with a proper English translation.

I don't want an HD port of Xenoblade. If they do it, they better just remake it. I don't think the HD is gonna help those models.

What i'd like to see is a Xenoblade X extended edition or sequal. I would buy a switch immediatly for that.

Yeah, I meant port liberal in the OP. Everything that needs to be pushed to HD, is more in the remaster-box. Updated models and textures.

Good hint with Dolphin. Is that more objects, meaning less pop-up on the PC? So even without reworking of models and textures the quality can be increased. Very good.
