Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Capcom and the Switch

^^ The video above shows the shitty 15fps or so cloud version of Resident Evil 7 for the Switch (wifi necessary as well). Clearly Capcom does not give a shit about the Switch whatsoever. (source: GameXPlain)

Crapcom; for some backstory, most of their support for the Switch has been shitty cashgrabs and "tests" for future games on the Switch. For instance, Capcom said Street Fighter II Ultra on the Switch was a test for what the future holds with Capcom games on the Switch. SFII Ultra was considered a great success in 2017 alone with around 450k sold (25ish yr old game btw). THEN, Capcom had the nerve to say Monster Hunter XX is also a test for future games on the Switch (it also sold well).

Well so much for their "future" on the Switch which seems to be just a bunch of shitty cash grabs like RE7. The only new and decent game coming to Switch this year is Mega Man 11.

Crapcom can't make good games/ports anymore lmao.

Hooooold on.I agree that Capcom has been shit with the Switch ever since its release, but that RE 7 footage is being take out of context.

The game realeased in Japan, so it was meant to be played in Japan. If you play from the US with a game that is being streamed from japan(which is basically in the other side of the world), its going to be shitty either way. What i want to see is footage from someone in japan with a decent internet connection playing this.

My (locked) thread about how difficulty should be a decision for the developers, not the gamers.

That's on a Japanese server, not saying this will be great, but the only way we can be sure of it's quality is when we play this on a local server

God I knew people were going to do this. Like the others said, it’s a guy in America playing on a Japan server. This video means nothing.

To be fair, this is being run from a server that's very far away. I'm sure it runs better in Japan. That being said, I do wonder why Capcom even had a say in Switch's development if all they're doing is porting old games to it. Kinda getting sick of it to be honest. The first actual new game we'll be getting from them on Switch is what...Megaman 11?And that's if it doesn't get delayed.

Has anything new mentioned the guy is playing from America on a Japanese server yet?

Lol the guy in the video even says he is in America and is expecting to be booted off the server.

Why is this even a topic? I am against it being on cloud but even I can tell this is a bait topic. All it proves is that anyone on a shitty internet connection will struggle to play.

On a side note yes I am still shitty it is on Cloud I want a physical version lol

This one's better. It's someone playing (seemingly) from Japan.
