Yeah, I think I need this. Glorious arrangement of the DK theme, too.

DK's grab and throw ability (which can be used on allies, enemies, and objects like fire/bounce blocks) and the way he can swing on vines to traverse the map do seem to offer up some cool gameplay possibilities, and the combination of the former with Cranky's midair shotgun blast is epic.

Much like the base game, the amount of effort and love put into this is quite palpable.

Can't believe I was doubtful about getting this game. It's refreshing and loving every minute of it. Ubisoft has outdone themselves (perhaps because Miyamoto was involved). Great that the sales are a proof of the success (almost 2 mil)

This game will pass 3 million lifetime, mark my words.

Ubisoft totally outdone themselves with this game - in my opinion it's the the most beautiful rendering of the mushroom kingdom full stop - and that's saying something!

My only disappointment was that I found the last third of the game far too easy - all of my characters felt way too OP...

Loved those 4 ultra hard challenges though - the ones stages on the sparse grid environment - more like that please!!

when is this new DLC going to be released digital?

Switch!!!

Looks really good

Hmmmm... it does look beautiful, definitely one of the prettiest Switch games to date, but I'd put Odyssey just a hair's breadth ahead myself.

Odyssey is definitely the more technically accomplished title, though its engine features aren't as extensive as Breath of the Wild's

Honestly, seeing New Donk makes me want them to have some kind of open world city game.  If said game targeted 30fps, the city could look phenomenal for the hardware.

Well, BOTW is a 30fps game so it's got twice as much rendering time per frame, though at the same time it is a Wii U game at heart and I think that shows in that Odyssey does have spiffier shaders.

The best looking Switch games to date for me are Odyssey, Kingdom Battle, FAST RMX, and Outlast II.

Yeah, those do make a strong case.  Doom in handheld is pretty impressive.  Wolfenstein 2 though looks even more polished.

There's actually a couple of great tech analyses someone did on Odyssey and Breath of the Wild too, need to look them up and post them here.  Some really cool stuff.

Xenoblade 2 is rougher than those big 4 but I think the potential in the engine is big.  If they can optimize and refine it so that it can run at higher resolutions - say 900p - with the next game they could habe something quite special.  Cause when the game fires on all cylinders like in Leftheria or during a lot of your action cutscenes, it can look really good.

Been waiting for the complete version before diving into this one, it looks pretty fun
