dark souls > demon souls > ds3 > ds2 > bloodborne

I don't know .. somehow I don't like bloodborne that much. probably because the game was way too easy after blood starved beast and those chalice dungeons were extremely monotonous

Someone clearly didn't fight Maria or the Orphan. But the be fair, they were DLC bosses.

Dark Souls > Bloodborne > Dark Souls 3 > Dark Souls 2 > Demons Souls as far as I´m concerned.

I did beat the dlc. I was thinking about to mention it. it was almost the only good part and felt again like a souls game.

I skipped 2 boss fights because I needed a second playthrough(I have way to many games at my backlog to invest so much time for that). moon presence because I couldn't get a third cord and the final boss of the final chalice because I missed 1 item from that huge eye thing almost at the end of the game.

Moon Presence is another "hug the butt" fight, but Yharnam was pretty different (and could easily one shot most meta builds).

I strongly disagree with your sentiments, though. Bloodborne was the title that made me love Soulsborne.

Im gonna go with Bloodborne because i found the atmosphere more compelling, the bosses more memorable and the switch to an aggressive play style really took the series to another level in my opinion.

Yeah, my friend down here.

Demon's Souls.
Nioh is a close second, even as it's not from FS.
Bloodborne could also have been a masterpiece as those, but it just failed short of it.

None. I don't have enough patience to play any of them.

The 3 Dark Souls games are all very close in quality to me. Demon's Souls is good too, but not quite as good as the Dark Souls games. I really hated Bloodborne. I don't think of the Souls games as action games, and the attempt to make them into an action game was just a terrible move.

Bloodborne hands down. I loved Denon and Dark Souls, but lost interest half way through Dark Souls 2. I have DS3, but have yet to play it. Bloodborne I have the plat, so that says something.

For me, it is the faster paced gameplay and lovecraftian lore that wins me over with Bloodborne. The setting is just perfect.

I see this argument a lot from BB haters. I started playing souls games the first day Demon Souls came out back in 2009 and ever since then my playstyle has always been 2 handing a weapon and using Invincibilty frames and rolling to dodge and position myself to attack. In Demon Souls it was the Meat Cleaver, in Dark souls the Zweihander, in Dark Souls 2 the Mastodon Greatsword, etc.... although I had very little problems with this style i cant help but admit that it was somewhat clumsy and awkward looking. The only thing bloodborne did was make it look cool as shit and flow much better. I also know others who would use a 1handed weapon and parry dagger just for riposting very similarly to bloodbornes gun. So although I understand the people who always relied on shields to breeze through the games( i was forced to use them once or twice for certain difficult fights aka Magnus), I dont like it when they try to throw shit at bloodborne for not beings"souls like" enough when the reality is that the playstyle of bloodborne has always been around since Demon's Souls.
