Europe once again the top selling region for the Switch. Interesting. ROTW also completely tanked for Switch this week. It's now back to where it was last year.

In other words, these numbers probably arent the most reliable.

At the presentation in late April, Nintendo said that regions outside of NA/EU/Japan were seeing an increase in sales and specifically mentioned the Middle East & Asia as showing a notable increase.

Europe is probably too high while ROTW is too low.

Mayday, mayday...Switch better start getting important software soon! Not a bad week for Switch but it's definitely suffering from not enough system sellers. Things should pick up real soon here hopefully.

6 long weeks until the next game in Mario Tennis, but that should have an impact on hardware sales unlike Labo. Until then though, I'm scared to see how low the sales go. =(

Hyrule Warriors is in next weeks update, i dont think thats a big system seller but it can probably give a small boost in the west or at least maintain momentum.

This year, ps4 almost already has the same amount of sales as Switch and xone together.

The PS4 will likely fall quite a bit behind its 2017 sales in the coming years, it had a great spring/early summer last year. But still holding well, surprised at the Switch dipping that much, it seems like they need actual games to sustain momentum throughout the year, let's get going on that 1st party software already and not just re-releases of old games!

with ~2 years left of its life cycle not bad. I hope Sony has plans with 3rd party devs to make exclusives for next year and the one after that. we getting good 1st party support on exclusives but not so much from indiependent devs or 3rd party publishers.

I don't want either of these, unless Sony owns the IP or is responsible for the game existing, games should be multiplatform.

Looking at last year's sales, it did 113k this week and averaged ~125k/week from early May-mid July so while these sales arent outstanding, it seems like its still selling steadily above last year even without mega hits like Zelda/Mario Kart.

Last year they shipped under 2 million this quarter, they should easily beat that this year.

Indeed, but to get to a 20 million fiscal year, they really need it to move even faster. Maybe they're aiming for a ludicrous Q4, we all know what they're capable of during the holidays, for instance. I guess we'll have to wait and see what they show off in the coming weeks and months, they tend to hold their cards closer to the chest than the competition.

ps4 still going strong, and with detroit we can expect some other hardware push
