Not as often as I'd like, rice is too heavy in calories and has a fairly unfavorable rating on the GI, so I need to be careful. Sweet potatoes and regular potatoes are kinder in that regard, but so so boring. I love rice!

Maybe once a month here. Rice sucks here. Usually with a lot of ingredients to compensate for how bad it is.

Rice (along with beans) is very common in Brazil, so yeah. I eat it almost every day.

As a brazilian myself, we usually season rice with just salt, chopped onion and garlic. That's basically it, unless your neighbour uses some kind of special seasoning or something.
