43 pages in and I've yet to see a single piece of evidence that Star Wars, Ghost Buster's, etc were changed.

Star Wars is a new trilogy with new characters.  The existence of non "white male" characters is not proof of forced diversity.

GhoatBusters after a long time rebooted the franchise and someone decided to make the choice to cast all women.  It's a fun idea to basically gender swap the original.

Pretty much all the complaints that I've even seen about these two movies have nothing to do with them being women and are instead complaints about the writing and acting. Which have nothing to do with the characters themselves.

Here's an actual example of attempting forced diversity with actual documentation:

That is if you ignored the link posted with an e-mail showing the team was to be half man and woman and they decided to change, with Bill Murray reaction.

It's very easy for people who have benefitted from the lack of diversity to complain once women and people of color start getting the same opportunities they have. All people are asking for is that they get the same opportunities in film and entertainment that mostly white men have with their connections. Unfortunately it seems to bother some people.

Another one that ignored OP and just decided to attack.

Well so you see the character from the game as an hooker with whom you have sexual feelings and experiences...
Ok I don't see it as a sexual experience.
But we are friends the same..

Concept is the same on your provocative question.

He paid for one experience, it was changed, he doesn't like. It seems like you wouldn't as well.

No man it is not the same.
The game is not the sex of the person. You are comparing a game with a date or paid sexual encounter. Is not the same.
The game is not something that you buy usually because of the sex of the main character.
The value of the product goes beyond that.

And we are not talking about a game was bought and the main character was changed after it being bought.
You are talking about changing sex at the middle of the encounter.

I can also give an example of an all boys club that now has some girl. And now boys dont like.
So then we can also tell that you are saying that the game was an all boys club.
You can get absurd comparisons.

About the hooker, that is a too private question, but one day I can tell you in private.

And there are games, movies, books where you change the main character at the middle. And sometimes it has different sex.
You are changing the experience?

So maybe people that did not liked before the game now like because of that. So that guy does not like, imagine how people that played the game and now identify with the character variation feel.
So not possible to always please everyone.

I dont give a crap. For a game if changes the character at the middle I dont care.
If you are talking about sexual intercourse or a relationship that is different for me.
But ok for you is the same.

And if the change in between of the game is for another man ..is that better for you or for that guy?
That keeps the experience?

Define me how the experience change affects you or that guy.

1st part yes, it isn't about making sex. It's about buying something and the expectations that go with it, them having it changed and not liking. Not everyone that doesn't like is a bad person as people attacking OP seems to think.

2nd changing sex during encounter, versus changing sex in the middle of the franchise (some games the char being something and then the same char being changed) so it's equivalent.

3rd if a club is all man clubs then no female should be there as much as an all female shouldn't have men.

4th I wouldn't have a problem with a female or male char in a game or book being a trans that you discover during the game as long as it is meaningful for the game. There is a series where that is an possibility on the rumors.

5th I don't need the gender, color or religion of the char to be able to relate. We play even aliens, robots and animals no problem. So the excuse that they need to change char to make people happier (even when those aren't even their core markets) is silly).

6th for me changing one side or the other is the same.

Man Im not talking about trans or a person changing sex. Im talking about having different main characters that change all your point of view in a story book movie etc. At start you see one character then at the middle we change for other character. That might be a man or a female. Or all around.

About being a bad person, I did not said anything of it... don't know why you say it.
The only thing I thing is that between your side or my side the problem with this discussions is that I think that they are more divisive than they should. And sometimes it seems people worry a lot about this and less about more serious stuff and ijustices going on in the world. But this is a gaming site so I get it. But even so, people nowday seem all focusing on this crap of pro and anti feminism.

Ok, so if is a man's club or female club yes they dont enter.
My point is : are specific games a man's club?
I just gave a comparison with other situation as you gave with the hooker that might have other meaning. I just wanted to show you that I can get you comparisons with situations that are bad or good.
And in the end we are not talking about a hooker or a boys club. We are talking about a game main character.
In entertainment as it says the title. In entertainment, books, etc. character change from book to book a lot of time between collections.

So if one game like gta now has a female character, that is like a different sex partner for you? the experience changes? You wont play it?

What if there is a battlefield nowdays where you are a female soldier against ISIS? Won't you play it because statistically they are less than man?
I don't feel that is negative for entertainment,  I think is enriching new experiences.
Do you feel that would be negative?

Cheers

A part of the book or game being with a male and another with a female isn't a problem. The point on the thread was basically just keeping the char but saying it's now a different sex or color.

I said it because that is a recurring judgement made on this thread or site. That if someone isn't progressist he is a monster.

Nope no game is a boy's club even if the core is like 95% male, the problem is trying to force the game to cater to the 5% which usually ends up being worse product, failing to meet goals and them blaming the core gamer to not have open mind to accept it. Also, you won't make a believable game based on middle age where half your german knights are black and woman.

I won't play GTA at all. But I wouldn't avoid any game because the main char is a female, or even if it's trans. But I would be unhappy if they decided to make UC5 and call Nathan Drake of Nathalia Drake instead of just using another female char being his daughter or any of the minor char that already even got LL for example.

If the female soldier is based on a real life squadron of females (like there is in Israel) no issue, if they portray the USA military as half female them that is bogus.

Ok, cool.

Can you give me examples of games where that female or race agenda was forced so I can have a point of reference?

I don't keep close attention to it, but someone just made the Boxart of a prostetic woman fighting in WW2 I believe for Battlefield.

The aforementioned battlefield 5 trailer has around 300k likes and 400k dislikes. Glad that a lot of people aren't taking this BS lying down.
