Forums - PC Discussion - Blasts From the Past: Volume 1 (Screenshot warning for slower connections)

Decided to give some older games in my Steam library a go to see how they hold up today, just want to see people's assessments of some of the older  games they have and how they feel they hold up overall please feel free to add.

Rage - Gave this a go today with the second game now officially a thing holds up fairly well imo, despite the content issues gameplay is still good while visually it's still competent even by today's standards. Hopefully the second game fulfils the missed potential and sorts out the modding issues of the first game.

I don't know what 8th gen games you're play but that looks terrible. Really shows how far we've come in the near 7 years. A bigger jump than Mgs2 to mgs4 in many cases.

Terrible in comparison to what you'd have to give examples because obviously the game doesn't match the likes of GOW and Horizon but then the are many games like Deus Ex MD that the game overall is not far off from.

7th gen on PC looks like 8th gen on console now.

To be fair PC tech went mental in that gen although Crysis is still a rig killer even today.

And 8th gen on PC looks like 8th gen on console now. In fact some console game look better than even maxed out games on PC.

This surely won't end well.
