Forums - Movies & TV - ThunderCats Roar (Yet another horrible cartoon reboot)

They brought it back in 2011 and noone cared. At least now it will be popular again

Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda Muda!!!!

Teen Titans Go is surprisingly well-done. And the only good thing about Thunder Cats was the art style. I don’t see the need to revive it if you’re giving that up.

I'm still pissed off about them leaving the 2011 version with a cliff hanger.

As for my feelings about this show, well I'll let a quote from my boy Provost Willem do all the talking  "Oh I know, I know. You think now to betray me."

I can let TMNT pass as far as reboots go, they look goofy already as a kid, but turning Thundercats into retards, no just NO!!! Btw, what does this 2011 reboot look like?

Anime inspired. Sort of like Avatar the last air bender/ legend of korra, the new Voltron, and the new Castlevania show.

I just googled it and didn't even knew that was Thundercats, I saw it before during an ad on CN when my daughter was watching and asked her about it but couldn't tell me the name, dang, how's the story and animation, worth watching for an oldy?

Edit: Woops, meant to quote @RespectDecena.

At first people were pretty excited for it, than some people disliked it for apparently feeling too much like star wars. But over the years from what I've seen people have had more positive opinions on it. Personally for me I really enjoyed it, the animation,  action scenes, voice acting and world design are really great. The cliff hanger ending might bother you though.

Edit: yeah I don't blame your daughter. Cartoon Network did a horrible job promoting it, they changed it's time slot 3 times during the first few episodes.

If you're talking about the animated series, I haven't watched those, but I just might watch the 2011 Thundercats, I'm liking the art style.

That looks like someone taking the piss rather than creating a reboot.

I hope you enjoy it, plus it's got a pretty mature and serious story, atleast it'll give you something thundercats related that isn't this nasty new reboot.
